Casa indipendente, ristrutturata di recente immersa nel verde con un grande prato, posizione perfetta per tour dei castelli della Loira se si viaggia in auto, con parcheggio nella proprietà. Appartamento spazioso e molto pulito accessoriato di ogni cosa. Proprietario gentile che ci ha accolto e dato un sacco di informazioni sul nostro soggiorno. Indimenticabile la colazione con vista parco dalle grandi vetrate con passaggio degli scoiattoli ogni mattina. Consigliato.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Christophe was welcoming and helpful. We knew he would be available if we needed him, but he left us in peace to enjoy our holiday. The gite is in an upmarket, safe area. It was clean, spacious and well kitted out. There is everything needed for a holiday and more. It’s private and having parking is a bonus. It was cold on our arrival, but soon warmed up with the heater on. We thought the electric shutters excellent, as was the WiFi. It’s within easy reach of many chateaux. Worth arriving as they open, before the coach parties descend. There’s a well stocked Carrefour supermarket not too far away. We liked Azay-le-Rideau, which is an easy drive close by and in particular enjoyed its wine bar. There are a good number of places to drink and eat. It’s simple, with a nice feel to it. We visited each evening after long and wonderful days visiting Chateaux. A memorable and enjoyable stay.

We always ensure wherever we stay is clean and tidy when we leave. We are often thanked for that. Worthy of note is the expectation of a thorough clean before departure. A quite extensive list is included in the unit info. We were happy to do it and it certainly wouldn’t stop us visiting again, but it may not be everyone’s idea of part of their holiday. There was a note that a fee could be paid for cleaning, but that wasn’t included anywhere in the booking . com documentation. It would be good to update that.
