About this villa rental
Completed in 2019, Viaggio is a private luxury villa perfectly poised in the hills of the prestigious Preserve at Botany Bay, a 300-acre secluded community on the west end of St Thomas. Attention to detail is around every corner. First on the list are the massive sliding glass doors that open to 270-degree views of the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. Even more special is the spectacular view of Mermaid’s Chair—a magical sandbar that separates the two oceans. Simply incredible.
Next we have the spacious pool deck perfect for watching dreamy sunset views during cocktail hour every evening. The list continues at Viaggio with elegant design elements, contemporary furnishings and carefully curated artwork. Modern conveniences abound in the well designed and fully stocked chef's kitchen with commercial-style stove, Sub-Zero refrigerator drawers, a beverage fridge, wine fridge, and Vitamix blender—to name just a few. The indoor/outdoor SONOS sound system throughout the home provides constant entertainment. The five spacious bedrooms—each with its own full bathroom—have private balconies that overlook endless views. Three of the bedroom’s are casitas independent from the main house; all flanked by a lushly landscaped courtyard. There’s more! The indoor living spaces extend outdoors to the oversized pool deck with designer umbrellas providing shade over the teak lounge chairs and outdoor dining deck. There is even an umbrella in the pool!
* A note to guests traveling in August/September -- Viaggio Villa's bedrooms and media room are all central A/C, the great room and kitchen are open air with an industrial size fan.

This home exceeded every expectation. It was not only luxurious and beautifully designed, but also incredibly well-appointed with everything needed to feel completely at home. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking ocean view — the kind you dream about but rarely find.Every detail of the home felt intentional and high-end, from the comfortable furnishings to the fully stocked kitchen. The bedrooms were stocked with ample pillows, cozy blankets, and A/C for cool, restful nights. The bathrooms had plenty of fresh towels, washcloths, and a generous supply of soaps and toiletries.The bonus amenities made our stay even more enjoyable: filtered water throughout the home, an ice machine for our daily drinks or the provided ice chest to go, snorkels and beach chairs for adventures, plenty of beach towels, and pool floats.We loved the sense of privacy and security, while still being conveniently located. The home is nestled on a quiet, secluded part of the island, offering peace and tranquility without sacrificing access to essentials.The hosts warmly welcomed us, offered great suggestions for local excursions, and went above and beyond to help us troubleshoot unexpected flight/travel issues.This was more than just a vacation rental — it was a luxurious, relaxing retreat that we can’t wait to return to!

Our family had an amazing time at the Viaggio. There were just a couple of maintenance issues that we found. Other than that we would highly recommend.

Casa Viaggio is an amazing getaway perched on the hillside of Botany Bay, offering the perfect setting for four couples. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the hospitality from start to finish was impeccable. The house had everything we needed to fully unwind and enjoy a stress-free, relaxing vacation together. Each of the three casitas and the main bedroom provided plenty of space, comfort, and privacy, making it ideal for couples.We had Josh Fleagle of Fleagle By Dezign prepare our meals at the house, and they were outstanding—I highly recommend him! The location is wonderfully secluded, far from the usual crowds you might find on other parts of the island. It's a bit of a walk to the beach if you're up for it, but definitely a quick drive if you prefer. For any light grocery or beer runs, we highly recommend stopping by to see Omar at the Botany Bay Market near the entrance. He was fantastic and took great care of us during our stay.If you're looking to explore St. John or other destinations by vessel, we highly recommend Carpe Diem Charters. Captain Kevin was excellent and gave us a great experience. Eating tacos on the water at Lime Out was one of many highlights on our trip with him! As for St. Thomas, we absolutely loved Hull Bay—it's hard to beat the easy access, great snorkeling, and the delicious food and drinks at The Shack!A huge thank you to Savannah and Taylor for making our stay truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!
