Very nice View and very clean house. Hosts were able to address all of our inquiries and made our stay enjoyable.
Some items that should be stated in the advertisement from the start are: 1. The property is very remote, 2. It takes about 20 minutes (8.6 km) to get to the property using very narrow dirt (and sometimes dangerous - especially at night!) roads, 3. The water at the residence is non-potable and occupants should be told to bring their own for cooking and drinking, 4. The bathroom is an outhouse and not accessible from inside the residence. 5. There is no DEH electricity at the home - all is powered by Solar Panels with limited capability. 6. There is a propane /gas cylinder in the house under the sink which is meters away from the one open bedroom - this needs attention. 7. There is no air-condition unit or a safe way to have the windows open at night in order to have fresh air and a good temperature within the house. Bars on the windows and doors would allow for this; Safety in such a remote location is a concern.

Vanis house is located in a remote part of the island. But this is the main advantage - you will be utterly alone, surrounded by beautiful nature and amazing sunsets. After the sunset, in times of moonless night, the Milky Way will show its beauty, because there is no light pollution.
George was an excellent host and provided us the backup internet connection when the main one was down due to Ianos cyclone.
