+Petit appartement typique de l'architecte hydriote situé à proximité du port et des rues commerçantes (épicerie, boutiques, restaurants, etc.), mais dans un environnement très calme et préservé du bruit. Le charme tient aussi de ce que des locaux vivent et travaillent en-dessous et autour du logement. Le style de la décoration est très rustique, comme partout sur les îles grecques, mais tous les équipements sont fournis et les lieux sont d'une grande propreté. Agréable petite terrasse ombragée avec vue sur les collines et le village portuaire. +Accès très facile et communication aisée avec le gérant/propriétaire (whatsapp ou messagerie booking). Les clés se trouvent sur la porte d'entrée.

-Ce n'est pas un problème ni un élément non apprécié, mais il faut savoir que l'accès au logement se fait par un petit escalier extérieur assez étroit. C'est tout le charme des endroits typiques, mais pour les personnes moins valides, cela pourrait être un élément à considérer.

The location of the property was excellent! It really felt like being in a little neighborhood on Hydra. We loved having coffee on the terrace looking at the beautiful view. The Internet Wi-Fi worked just fine for us. It was very quiet at night. We slept well.

It was initially a little hard to find the apartment as the town has few street signs.However, our host was very responsive and provided directions.

Loved the location and proximity to the port, many cafès and restaurants. The apartment is spacious. The bed sheets and blankets are very thin and need replacing - not sufficient for the cold night in early May we experienced. Both mattresses also need replacing. One is very hard so we swapped to the other which was softer but lumpy. A microwave would've been handy to heat up milk for coffee. The terrace is where we spent a lot of time with the many stray cats. It was very quiet and relaxing. The lovely lady downstairs was so sweet. She kindly gave us some of her home baked cookies to have with our coffee.

The bed linen and mattresses need replacing.

It's a spacious apartment in a great location - close enough to the port to get around easily - but far enough to be peaceful. We especially enjoyed mornings on the terrace - hanging out with the cats, listening to all the birds. and looking at the mountain views.

The listing states the apartment has air conditioning but neglects to mention that it's only in the 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms were cool and comfortable - the rest of the apartment felt like a sauna. Hydra is very warm in the summer so I think it's important to let people know what to expect when they stay here.
