About this apartment rental
15th floor - upscale oceanfront vacation paradise condominium with beds to sleep up to 8 people; located DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH about one mile NORTH of Daytona Beach Ocean Walk and the pier (with many fun activities), about 8 miles from Daytona Speedway and the Airport, and less than half a mile to a shopping plaza (with Publix Grocery Store, Dollar Tree, Walgreen, Beals Department Store, Beals Clearance Store, Marshalls, and more).
The condo is a south-end unit of the Horizons Condominium Building facing east (directly on the ocean), south (with city and bridges views), and west (with river views). The unit is cool in the summer; warm and sunny in the winter. The only thing between the building and the beach is the swimming pool and the lounging area.
The large front wrap-around balcony gives you a perfect 180-degree unobstructed view of the ocean, the river, and the whole Daytona Beach area including the lighted pier and bridges. The front balcony is the perfect place to watch the sunrise over the ocean. You could also watch the sunset on the river from the back balcony. "Best views of all Daytona Beach"!! The balconies are equipped with patio chairs!
The owner has taken great pride in making sure you have everything you need to make your beach stay enjoyable for you and your family. The main living room is equipped with a Sharp 60' Full HD 1080p AQUOS® LED Smart HDTV (the best possible picture) with HDTV digital DVR cable box, and a brand new sound bar. The master bedroom is equipped with a wall-mount 40-inch HDTV. The queen guest bedroom has a flat 20-inch screen cable-TV. Also, the double twin bedroom is provided with a 27-inch flat-screen cable TV. The unit is equipped with HI-SPEED wireless internet for your convenience and pleasure. You will have strong WiFi in every room of the condo!
The living area has a very comfortable leather sofa and loveseat, a Lazy Boy recliner, and a big ottoman for your comfort. The dining area has a nice large table with four leather padded chairs, two armed leather chairs, two extra nice chairs for added seating plus a buffet full of fun games and books for your pleasure.
The unit has been completely renovated with brand-new flooring, appliances, furniture, bedding, and linens. The bedrooms have complete furniture with dressers and nightstands.
The condo sleeps 8: a master bedroom with a king bed, a queen guest bedroom with a queen bed, and a twin bedroom with one twin bed and one trundle bed (two twin-size beds). There is also a foldable twin-size bed to be used if needed.
Full kitchen with new stainless steel appliances including microwave, glass top stove, oven, large fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, toaster oven, a regular coffee maker, Nespresso coffee maker, blender, a food processor, a hand mixer, and a crockpot. The kitchen is also fully furnished with all needed flatware, silverware, cookware, servingware, baking dishes, cookie sheets, utensils, and more.
The balcony from the living/dining area wraps around the east and south sides of the unit. The master suite accesses this balcony in addition to a second private balcony facing west (river and ocean view). The guest's twin bedroom views the ocean looking north as well as the river to the west, and the queen bedroom is looking west with a large view of the river.
The condo offers absolute privacy, an underground secured large reserved parking spot with a garage opener in addition to a ground level parking deck with first come first serve spots (no trailers allowed but a private parking area could be identified), a fitness room, a gas and charcoal grill on the building deck, a picnic area, and an oceanfront pool with lounge chairs, tables, and umbrellas
Beach chairs, a small pop-up beach umbrella, boogie boards, and many kids' sand toys are available in the garage for your use! Please rinse and leave neatly before you leave.
PLEASE, ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE UNIT, OR ON BALCONIES.

Good - communication, location, large space, very helpful and granted several special requests, excellent water pressure in the en-suite shower. They provide portable fans and a drying rack. There are some board games and books available.Bad - construction noise every weekday around 8:15, only 3 keys and you need the key to leave the property to get to the beach and to get back into the property. Blue film related to the construction covers the windows so the view is diminished (the film makes it dark and slightly blurry). The balconies are off limits due to construction. The fitness room is waaay out of date; only 4 dumbbells which were all 25lbs. The description of the room says completely updated. No. I can tell they’ve made some updates and the kitchen is nice but the rest of the place was definitely old. Some things were not provided that I usually find in a rental such as dishwasher soap, trash bags and extra blanketsAlso note laundry is 3.50 per load and is paid using an app.The building seemed to have a lot of rules such as shirts and shoes required in common areas and you can get charged for bringing in sandOverall I would say there are a lot of people who would enjoy staying here and we would have enjoyed it a lot more if the construction was complete. But if you expect a luxury condo experience this place is not for you

Our host was amazing! She was VERY accommodating and the condo was perfect for us. It was very clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed and much more. I hope to come back year after year.
