Casa da Canada

La casa es fantástica. Tiene todo para pasar unas buenas vacaciones. Las vistas y ese jardín te dejan sin respiración. Antonio ha sido un gran anfitrión. Llegamos tarde por la noche y nos dejó un gran desayuno para la mañana siguiente. La isla es un sueño.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour (13 nuits) dans la maison. Tout s'est parfaitement passé de l'arrivée au départ. La maison correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos, pas de mauvaise surprise. L'accueil à distance d'Antonio et la présence de Carla ont facilité et sécurisé le séjour. Antonio est joignable facilement, il veille sur ses hôtes avec discrétion et efficacité, rien n'est laissé au hasard : il s'informe du bien être et du bon déroulement du séjour et fournit toutes les indications nécessaires et même plus. Il est réactif, disponible, aimable et généreux. C'est l'hôte que l'on souhaiterait avoir chaque fois. Nous avons trouvé dans la maison tout le nécessaire : chauffage, couverture, linge de toilette et de maison, produit d'entretien, etc. Antonio nous a aidé à résoudre un problème lié à l'annulation de notre vol par TAP Air Portugal pour cause de brouillard et obligation de rester 4 nuits de plus sur l'île. Il nous a rendu un énorme service avec gentillesse et générosité. Nous n'oublierons pas. Allez en confiance dans sa jolie maison bleue au milieu des prés et des vaches açoriennes. Une belle expérience un beau souvenir. Merci Antonio et Carla.

Rien qui dépende d'Antonio. Sao Miguel est entré dans le XXIeme siècle et le week-end les motards font des essais de vitesse et de "pétarade" sur la route. Les incivilités sont universelles hélas. Allez vite visiter l'île verte, tant qu'il est temps.

Lovely house situated on the countryside near Ribeirinha, yet conveniently close to the main road in the north of Sao Miguel. We loved our stay here and would stay here again. The chouse is truly charming, and we were welcomed by the lady that cleaned the house, who also efficiently provided us with the information we needed. There was a very good contact with the very friendly owner via WhatsApp. No issues whatsoever. The pictures on the site really give a good appreciation of what to expect. The beds aren't extremely spacious (but we knew this, hence no problem). You'll need a car to stay here. There is a dish washer and a gas stove and there are sufficient kitchen utensils to prepare your own dinner (which you can have outside, at an authentic stone table while watching the sunset :-)). The excellent location of the house ensures that you're in less than 30' in Ponta Delgada and at many important sights. From here we explored in essence the entire island and there's nothing which is more than 1h driving (even considering the very extreme ends of the islands). The main supermarket (Continente) is in Ribeira Grande, although there's also a Spar in Ribeirinha at less than 8' driving. Overall, this is a great and authentic place to stay while visiting the Azores. Recommended!
