Ocean Terrace House

This large apartment is very functional, with dishes and pots for cooking if needed, with many towels (even for the beach), blinds that close completely for blackout at night, and a very large balcony. It's in Ribeira Grande, which is a very central place from which to take little trips to many of the main sights. The check-in done by Carlos, who even helped us with luggage and who took the time to explain in detail the best things to do with a small child. All around great communication and a very comfortable stay.

The apartment has a balcony but in the end it is not as scenic as it may seem, because the apartment is right by the road.

Die Terrasse ist zwar riesig, aber bis auf ein paar Möbel leer, was nicht zum Aufenthalt einlädt.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Terrace. The apartment was our little home from home as we spent two weeks exploring all that Sao Miguel has to offer. Ocean Terrace is a great location for exploring the island with so much within easy reach, only 20 mins from the airport, 10 mins walk to Santa Barbara beach and an easy 3 mins stroll to the supermarket and main streets of Ribeira Grande. Very comfortable and cosy with plenty of space to relax and recuperate after days filled with hiking, kayaking, horse riding and exploring.

Nothing, everything was perfect for our stay, I could not find fault with anything.

The apartment was a great home base for exploring Sao Miguel. Maria and Carlos were incredibly friendly and very responsive. Carlos gave us recommendations for exploring the island. Maria was quick to respond to any question we had! The apartment was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. There were plenty of towels and a drying rack which was useful for after visiting all the hot springs!
