Large flat with a spacious and well set out sitting room with dining table. Plenty of cushions and seating. We enjoyed sitting and chatting in the evenings after days out around Helensburgh. Large kitchen and bathroom and an ideal place to spend relaxing time.. Communication re key code was easy. Plenty of lighting too.
Visited The Hill House in Helensburgh which was really interesting.

We liked the architecture of the property. Flat 5 was a good conversion. The bed was very comfy. The lounge was a good size and the decor was right for the age of the property. The kitchen was a good size. We did enjoy our stay.
No form of heating at all in the kitchen and the door didn't close properly. It would be very useful to provide a teapot. But two different things for making coffee provided! A bit dusty in places. It would be helpful to have an information pack.

Lovely, comfortable apartment. Great kitchen and comfortable bed. Lots of character and wonderful views down to the Clyde in a leafy part of town. A minor electrical problem was dealt with very speedily and the host was easy to contact and helpful.
Easy to park and a convenient location for Helensburgh and the Hill House. It was spotlessly clean and previous (minor) criticisms had been dealt with.
It has electric heating and it was cold when we arrived but warmed up quickly. One of the nights was really cold so we made sure we were warm enough. The host explained that some people leave the heating on when they leave or go out so we quite understood her concern. It would be cosier if the large stair well was closed off but the rest of the apartment was so fabulous this was a minor thing.

The apartment itself was extremely good, spacious, very well furnished and had style, specially in the sitting room
A Nespresso machine.
Unironed creased sheets and pillow cases, a kitchen which wasn’t terribly well equipped.
No washing sponge only a scrubber, which doesn’t work when trying to clean work surfaces. No dishwasher.
A freezer which hadn’t been defrosted in a long time.
A bathroom with no surface area to speak of
The fact that the owner asked me to be careful using electricity.

Absolutely eye catcher of a building. Good new kitchen.
No hot water in the kitchen (even with the.button on).
No supplies for doing dishes.
For us the beds were a bit too soft.

The apartment was beautifully furnished, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We liked the fact it was in a historic house, and that we had a lovely view of the loch from the living room window. We didn’t bring a car, but the bus stop for services into Helensburgh and to Gourock, where we caught the ferry to Kilcreggan, was only 5 minutes walk away. The Ardencaple pub is 7 minutes’ walk from Dalmore House, and the Beachcomber cafe is next to the bus stop. So a very convenient location. Also, we found our host very helpful.

The location was good, as was the lovely old building! The flat itself was lovely inside, very clean with great facilities! The kitchen and bathroom both looked fairly new and we're really well kitted out. Really good value for money in our opinion.
I guess the only downside was the walking distance into the town, it's probably about 20 minutes or so on foot. This didn't really cause us an issue though, and is definitely reflected in the cost of the apartment.

The building is beautiful and the location ia also pretty special. Apartment very nice, modern and spacious. Clean and tidy.
I think it was missing the personal touch. Other places I've stayed at leave a little token gesture, be it a bottle of water or wine, some little biscuits or something. I have always had milk in the fridge but not there.

It was superb, a real home from home, well appointed, everything you needed was there. Really happy with this property, so much so that I have made future bookings.
The shower has a defect (reported to the owner) that results in either scolding hot water or Luke warm water with very little flow.

We knew that the apartment is about a mile from the town centre. It’s a nice walk on the sea front. There are some great restaurants in Helensburgh for the nights you don’t want to self-cater.

Everything about this stay was perfect. Location, the apartment is lovely and cosy, perfect to come back to after a day hiking in the autumn. Host could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Beautiful property, great communication and instructions from owner. The apartment had everything in I needed to self cater, everything was perfect, comfortable bed and living room, good shower, and spotlessly clean. Located about a mile from the shops - a nice Loch side walk into town, where you will find all amenities. perfect!

Great location on the outskirts of Helensburgh (5 mins drive, 20 mins walk) in its own grounds although now in the centre of a small, very upmarket housing scheme. Great to have reserved parking outside the front door. Easy walking distance to the Ardencaple Hotel for drinks and reasonable priced pub food.
Well situated to explore the west coast as we did up the Gareloch, Loch Long to Arrochar, Loch Fyne and Inverary Castle and then back down via Tarbet and Luss on Loch Lomond.
The apartment is spacious and extremely well furnished as shown in Booking.com listing. Loved the décor throughout with a great selection of artwork. Comfortable lounge furniture with lots of cushions and throws – had the poof fitted in our car it would be in Devon by now!!
The kitchen was extremely well laid out – we loved the Tassimo like coffee machine and the challenge of working out how to insert the pods as we had not used one before. Well equipped with fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer with supply of washing pouches.
Finally, this is quality accommodation, slightly pricy but you get what you pay for. Happy to recommend and would hopefully return one day.
Just to emphasis how much we loved this apartment, the only thing that I can suggest improving the visitor experience is that we could not find a toast rack when using top of the range toaster, oh yes what about a tea pot? Tea made in a cup is like drinking a superior single malt from a jam jar, but that’s only my opinion.

This place was absolutely immaculate from top to bottom. The place was very comfy and the bed was superb. Location is perfect for walking along the waterfront or into Helensburgh. Kitchen was spot on I cooked two meals no problem. Would definitely stay again when working in Helensburgh.

Facilities were exceptionally clean, easy access to property and spacious. Well stocked and supplied from ample coffee pods through to quality towels. Really pleasantly surprised because wasn’t over priced and well located near Helensburgh. Best place we have stayed in our current trip ( 4th week of travelling)
Be aware there are set of reasonably steep stairs once inside which, not a problem or issue, but nice to know if stairs present a problem for you

The butlers apartment was ideal for our work location and close enough but not to far away to socialise and dine out. We'll worth the visit and secure parking with very friendly neighbours.
