Waverley Apartments - The Wedge

It’s such a lovely space, so cosy and comfortable and the view is amazing!

Nothing, we’ve stayed a few times and we can’t fault it, lovely friendly welcome and nothing is a bother.

Spoke with the owner, Jackie, whilst en-route to confirm the access arrangements and again when we couldn't find the find the place - easy once somebody explains it. Jackie was very helpful and this was much appreciated. A very comfortable split level apartment in a great location on the high street, with a view straight out over the Clyde from the living room window - great to sit with a morning cuppa or an evening glass of wine. Some great bars and restaurants within just a few minutes walk - The Seaview does fantastic Nepalese and Indian with very generous portions (be warned!) whilst the Cafe Intercontinental has a great range of beers and wine in a nice atmosphere - didn't eat there this time but menu looked good and it was always full, with the dining room looking out over the Clyde. Would recommend this apartment for couples looking for a high standard of accomodation with plenty of bar and restaurant options on the door step. Free weekend parking close by with limited, disc controlled (provided) on-street parking amost immediately in front. We definitely plan to return.

Ideally located near to plenty shops, places to eat and the coast. Apartment was very well appointed, clean with pleasant staff who we met on arrival. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay was provided

Not so much didnt like, but there are steps up to the property so it wouldnt be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. And you approach the apartment which is on the first floor via an alley to the side of the premises. You can park for an hour on the main street directly outside the front of the flat but have to move your vehicle for leaving it longer. We parked 2 streets away in Bath Street. No issues and no charges for doing so.

The apartment is immaculate, so tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view is wonderful, I really enjoyed sitting at the window looking out to sea. Dog friendly and such a great location right in the middle of the main street, I felt very safe walking my dog at night and there was plenty of parking right outside for our car.

I cannot think of anything I did not like.
