Gianicolo Country Room

It had everything I was looking for. It's in a nice, quiet, residential area, bus connections are good, and it has air conditioning and a guest kitchen.

The minifridge in the room could have been a little quieter and colder. But if you're not using it, it can be unplugged.

The neighborhood was great and the host was very responsive and helpful!

Sometimes the digital entry was confusing, but in the end, it worked out and was really convenient.

The room was very comfortable for a short stay and had all the basic necessities. The bed was super comfortable!

The walls are thin and I could hear when other guests were showering/flushing etc. Being a light sleeper, I woke up a few times. The location is a bit far from the historical centre unless you're taking an uber and don't feel like waiting for the bus. There was also an incident where the door bell was going off instantly so I answered it and a resident started yelling at me for not closing the door lifts properly. I told her I didn't use the lift but she wouldn't let me go so I had to be firm with her. Moral of the story, close the elevator doors!

The only good thing about the property is the close proximity to a bus stop and the gracious hosts who helped us a lot. They were wonderful to talk to.

The room is dated and the bathroom flush creates an awfully loud noise for 10-15 seconds after using. The shower area is tiny. There is non existent sound proofing we could hear every step in the hall and the sound of tv next door.
