About this house rental
This house has great spaces throughout and has maintained all of its original charm. Built in 1907, this home was once the residence of Washington State's 7th governor. The home has a huge wraparound porch and over 700 square feet of deck space. Original windows and doors throughout that fill the house with light and fresh air. The basement is beautifully refinished and includes a guest room and private bathroom with a walk-in steam room shower. The basement also includes a home office, media room with a gas fireplace and a surround sound home theater.
The main floor has a large walk in entrance with center stairwell, a gourmet kitchen, large dining room and a beautiful living room with wood burning fireplace.
The upstairs has 4 bedrooms, one with a king size bed, two with full size beds and one with a bunk bed.

House is beautiful and well maintained. Large and comfortable for our family vacation. The location is perfect - quick walk to downtown Queen Anne for groceries, restaurants, a few shops and a great farmers market (Thursdays). A 15 minute drive to the space needle area and 25 minutes to Pike Place Market/aquarium area. We loved every second of our stay here!

We had a wonderful stay for our group of 8. Beautiful home and great location. Host was very responsive and welcoming. We would highly recommend the home to future guests.

This is one of those houses that is too nice to believe. To start, the house is four bedrooms (master with a king, two bedrooms with queen/double, and one bedroom with a bunk beds) and one bathroom upstairs. The ground floor has a 3/4 bathroom (shower, but no tub), and the basement has a fifth bedroom and an additional bathroom with steam room.The house is a lovely 1920's house with a massive wrap around porch that is only one block from the main commercial district in the Queen Anne neighborhood. Because of the feel of the neighborhood (very quiet) and the bushes around the porch, being one block away from the main drag is amazing! In 5 minutes, we could walk to three grocery stores, a drug store, several restaurants, two gyms, and a game store (the real gem of Queen Anne). But, back in our house it felt like we were in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Queen Anne is also a great location. We could walk to the museum district/arts center (though, its a little bit of a walk back up the hill) and Union Lake. It was an easy drive to Discovery Park and downtown (less than 10 minutes). And even Bellevue was only 15-20 minutes (it was where we caught the fourth of July fireworks). And the views from Queen Anne are jaw dropping. In short, where will we stay when we come back to Seattle? The same house.
