This property was described well. Beds are comfortable and cabin has everything you need. You can walk or drive to the river. The river is beautiful. Bandera is a cute little town with cute shops and good food.

Our first time ever in Bandera. We went for our annual birthday party bash for the thin blue line motorcycle club. The home is right off the medina river, the different types of deer, hummingbirds, the singing of the birds. Seating on the patio in the mornings with our friends drinking coffee and enjoying the outdoors. The owner called to check in with me and to give us some pointers on where to go and eat. She was very pleasant to speak to. Spencer Forrest
Backroads Reservations was very attentive to my needs and answered all my questions. I definitely will book again for next year 2022 Birthday Bash!!! Thanks for the beautiful nature and home.

We chose this property because it was both large enough for our group of 10, and out of town. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a quiet spot to reconnect with family or friends.
The cabin is as cute in person as it looks in the photos. The original structure is a lovely little antique cottage with a stone fireplace. The addition wraps around two sides of the cottage and makes it an appropriate space for a larger number of people. The kitchen is in the original area and it looks small in the photos, but we were able to bake, cook meals for 10, and clean up after with no problems at all, so don't let that worry you.
Obviously, the back path to the river is the main attraction, and we spent a lot of our time outdoors. If we were there for a longer stay, there are a lot of things I would have liked to check out in the nearby towns. Since we were only there for a weekend, we will have to leave it at wanting to come back soon!
