I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. I mistakenly booked of a double bed instead single beds due to booking late at night on my phone during an emergency situation. Our initial accommodation had an issue, and we needed a last-minute place to stay. When I arrived at the reception with my elderly mother, I explained my mistake and requested to switch to a single beds. I was told by an uncaring staff member that I needed to pay an extra $168 USD per night for this simple change. I had a terrible flu and didn’t want to risk sharing the sickness with my mother, but the staff refused to help despite having multiple rooms available. When I asked if they were fully booked, the staff said no, making it clear that the refusal was not due to a lack of rooms. I tried reaching out to Agoda to resolve the issue, but they informed me that only the hotel could handle it. In the end, the hotel staff made no effort to assist us, and I was forced to share the bed with my mother, which was uncomfortable and stressful given my condition. I am very disappointed by the lack of compassion and flexibility at this hotel. The location is far from the beach, and while breakfast is good and some staff members were friendly, the front desk staff’s inflexibility and lack of empathy left a lasting negative impression. I would not recommend this hotel if you value good customer service and understanding staff.
