Ideally situated between Bath and Bristol, it provides an excellent base for exploring the surrounding countryside, The Cotswolds and Somerset.

The hosts are friendly, and helpful but very respectful of guests’ privacy. A wonderful base for a walking holiday. Walking routes can start right out the door Bath is only 10 minute walk plus 30 minutes by local bus. There is a M&S to buy food at the Bath bus/train station, but also one small shop in Wick for immediate first day shopping. The Bath train station allows for day-trips to great Cotswolds villages/towns and a great destination for a bookstore, and clothes shopping. The Bristol to Bath pathway is 45 minutes walk away. There is a local bus to Bristol. The countryside is amazing.

The Yew Tree Cottage was everything it promised! The hosts, Marie-France and Mark were friendly and informative. The cottage was clean and well appointed. The grounds and gardens were lovely. Very peaceful and calm. The location was convenient to both Bath and Bristol. It was the perfect spot for our introduction to the English countryside.

This is a lovely bnb - clean, bright, quiet, modern, and with all of the amenities necessary for a long-term or short stay. The hosts were conscientious and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again and recommend it highly to anyone who's looking for a nice place close to Bristol.

The Annexe is a beautiful cottage. Very nicely reconstructed and carefully decorated and maintained, spacious and with a great and huge garden around. It was very clean and well equipped. Also the location is great: in the countryside, but close to Bath, Bristol and the Cotswolds; walks directly from the house possible, and restaurants, pubs and a big supermarket at a reasonable distance. Mark and Marie-France are very friendly and warm hosts. We had a splendid stay. Highly recommended.
