This is my second or third time staying here because I really love the matress and pillows! Every time I remind myself to ask for purchase options during check out since they inform customers about their contribution with the manifacturer, and yet, I keep forgetting! The room is always clean and neat, staff is very helpful, and breakfast is fresh, delicious and way better than others..

There's only one complaint I can make about the property which is the unpleasant noise the housekeepers make (have to make) while cleaning rooms in early hours.. Once the breakfast starts (there are 3 different time options to keep everything fresh and not overload the dining area) around 7 something I suppose, they also start cleaning and it makes sleeping almost impossible for night owls like me.. Other than that, everything is really good..

my stay at 31 Doors Hotel was quite good. The room was clean and nicely decorated and the location is great for exploring Alexandroupoli. The staff were polite and responsive. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and modern place to stay.

The hotel is located on a main road, not far from the beach and the port of Alexandroupoli. In the evenings, the street by the sea turns into a pedestrian zone, with lots of restaurants and cafés, we were surprised how lively and fun area it was at night. The hotel itself is renovated and feels fresh and modern. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely designed with a large, comfortable bed. The bathroom was also roomy and functional, and the shower was a treat. Breakfast was simple but good, more than enough to start the day. Service was pleasant. The receptionist was especially kind and gave us helpful tips about the pedestrian area and nearby restaurants. The staff at breakfast were also super friendly. Price is very reasonable .

If you're coming by car, note that the hotel only has 3 or 4 parking spots right next to the building, and parking on the street itself isn’t allowed. What we did was park briefly outside just to check in and unload our luggage, and then I moved the car to a public parking area about a 7–10 minute walk away

Nothing. It was an awful experience from the reservation at Booking till our check-out,

The hotel do not have a parking space. They advertise on Booking.com and on other reservation websites that they have a parking available but that is a lie. They let guests to park their cars illegally on the pavement which is not a designated parking space and do not belong to them. It is just public pavement! Secondly, the hotel is not suitable for disabled guests. Because the entrance has a stair with many steps. They have a manual lift but it is operated by the hotel staff (the control device stays at the reception) and there are no staff available after 11 pm. If you are a solo traveling disabled guest in a wheelchair, you cannot get in and out of the hotel by yourself. Third: They claim that they cannot pre-authorize your credit card and demand full payment 2 weeks prior to your stay! I had to complain about this to Booking.com contact center but they could not find a solution. My bank kept saying that they did not receive any pre-authorization request from this hotel or from Booking.com. The Hotel management was very rude about this and they said: either transfer the money now or we will delete your reservation! I had the right to pay later or cancel until a certain date according to Booking.com policy but the Hotel prevents you from using these rights! In my opinion, they should be removed from Booking.com. Fourth: I reserved two rooms with two separate beds but one room had one single double bed. Although I have a message from the Hotel on booking.com that they agreed to accommodate our request for rooms with separate beds, upon o0ur arrival they said "no, we do not have rooms with separate beds but only a bed and a sofa". This is not the same thing!!! I did not pay for a sofa but for a proper separate bed. Plus, the sofa they gave did not have any sheets, pillows or blankets. The room also did not have any bathrobes. At the end, we had to pay a astronomic fee for a service which we did not receive. Finally, the rooms were too noisy at night.
