Good location right next to the port so handy for overnight stops to/from ferry.
Hotel is pretty old and dated but kept very clean. There’s a fridge and kettle in the room but no tea/coffee supplied. Restaurants, bars and shops are close by. There is plenty of street parking but it does get busy, I had to drive along the street some way to find a spot but I got one. There’s also a big open air paid car park right by the port and a short walk away. A very basic no frills hotel but one of the cheapest in town and absolutely fine for an overnight.
They only take cash for payment,
No breakfast.

For what we paid this hotel was totally acceptable. The room was compact (16sqm) but we knew this before booking. Location was right by the port, our reason for choosing it. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Toiletries provided. A few minutes walk from the town centre. Train on the doorstep, (one train day at 3pm to the Turkish Border), so no train noise. This is perfect for people in transit for a night or two. We had a little issue with the window shutter but the night manage sorted this immediately and it only took a few minutes. Staff very friendly and accommodating. There is also a luggage cupboard if you are travelling later and can leave your bags. I would stay here again if in Alexandroupoli.

This is a basic hotel that does its job right.
I just needed a comfortable bed for one night in the centre of the city and it serves its purpose.
Very friendly reception, good value for money for a last minute booking in August.
Maybe the bathroom was too small but I didn't have any high expectations.
