The entire house is totally updated. The upper level is an open concept with vaulted and beamed ceilings. Here you will find the roomy master with TV, second bedroom and full bath with walk-in shower. Enjoy cooking in the beautiful kitchen with all new stainless appliances, cupboards, granite countertops, and everything you need to prepare that perfect meal. There's seating for six at dining table and four more seats at kitchen counter. Living room area is great for family games, reading a book or watching movies. These rooms oversee a full wall of glass doors leading to the large deck overlooking incredible views of the water, town of Saugatuck and the marina.
Fantastic lower level with wet bar, full-size stainless refrigerator and oversized granite bar/dining that seats eight. Great place to eat, play games or just socialize. The walkout with full wall of glass doors offer more stunning views of the water and leads to fabulous patio with wrought iron patio set, built-in gas grill, dock and yard.
Located right on Lake/River Kalamazoo with a private dock you can fish off or kayak down the river and it will lead you right onto Lake Michigan.
Walk, ride or drive to 'the world famous Oval Beach' (less than 1/2 mile) or head downtown for the short five minute drive to Douglas and/or Saugatuck for shopping, restaurants, wine tasting, art galleries, bars and farmers market. Only steps away you can walk to Mt. Baldhead (climb the 300+ stairs), the Pumphouse Museum and The Saugatuck Chain Ferry which will take you across the river.

Loved the back deck, sat and drank coffee and talked for hours! Weather was gorgeous. We visited Holland and saw thousands of tulips in bloom. We did also go to Oval beach; good hike and did the 300 stairs at Mount Baldhead and whew! We found a beautiful view from the top! Would definitely (and are planning) another trip!!

The house was beautiful and well stocked. I can't think of anything that wasn't available that someone may need. Plenty of toilet paper and even facial tissue, which is often missing from VRBO homes. The views to the lake (on 2 floors) is just amazing, and so calming in the winter months when we were there. It was cold and the purpose of our trip was to celebrate a birthday and retirement, so we didn't have a lot of plans in the town. The house provided us with the perfect place to relax, play games, eat, and enjoy the company. The drive to downtown Saugatuck was quick and we did enjoy a short day of shopping. We also found a trivia game in a bar and had a great time there on a Saturday night. It was a perfect long weekend getaway. We would absolutely love to stay in this house again in the summer to more enjoy what the area has to offer. Annette was responsive, helpful and accommodating with everything. She was a pleasure to work with.

Beautiful place, great location, great little town! Communication with host was incredible. Alot of shops and places to eat. Gorgeous sunset on Oval Beach!! Can walk there but we chose to throw the beach chairs in the car and drive- So Fun!

WE were looking for a place on the water and close to fine restaurants and shops. Tequila Sunrise fulfilled our expectations and more. The house worked perfectly for both us and my sister with the two tiers of balconies and coffee for the morning. The furnishings made the inside as inviting as the outside.
And we cannot say enough about the location. We were in walking distance to Mount Baldhead; climbing its 302 steps was great exercise and the view of Lake Michiganat the end made it worth it. Speaking of which, Oval Beach, a short hop from the house, is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world--clear water, soft sand, and quite unpopulated. Adding to our pleasure was a gorgeous full moon over the mirror like waters of Kalamazoo Lake.
Finally, our hostess, Annette, could not have been more friendly and accommodating! Every question and need was addressed.
We will return to this cheerful and perfectly appointed home on two waters and near the most beautiful lake in the world.
