Summary:
Come visit us at this brand new rental thoughtfully furnished and a full kitchen for all your cooking needs. Open concept cottage on one level with a modern feel, excellent for gathering with friends and family in lovely Saugatuck, MI. Just a few minutes walk to all that downtown has to offer from art galleries, boutiques, shops, restaurants, and more. A short drive to the incredible Oval Beach of Lake Michigan or a short walk to take the chain ferry over to the beach.
The Space:
Gather around the fireplace during those crisp, cool months, fix a coffee or cocktail at the wet bar and have a seat on the wooded attached decks in the front or back complete with (4) adirondack chairs for your use. This one-level home has incredible natural light throughout, plenty of counter space with bar stools, and a large dining table with a serene view of the yard. Three private bedrooms and two full bathrooms allow for individual space, while the open kitchen/living area/dining area is ideal for sharing a meal or some laughs.

As part of our check-in process, we kindly ask guests to complete a short form through our secure link to provide a few essential details. This step is required to ensure a smooth and seamless arrival. Our stay at the Tate house was great. The property is well kept and the location is fantastic. The host was very easy to communicate with. The house was clean and it was easy to find what we needed. The beds were very supportive and comfortable.

House was clean, location was perfect. Parked when we got there and didn't have to drive until we left, walked to shops and dinner every day. A great house for a couple's getaway with lots of place to lounge.

Tate House was a very good choice for four friends who were celebrating 45 years of friendship. The home is extremely clean, and the main living areas are spacious. The kitchen is large and new and contains everything needed for cooking and dining. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of storage.The house is also just a few minutes’ walk to town, which is a tremendous benefit. Guests should be aware, though, that there are no grocery stores or drugstores in town, so be sure to stack up before you get there.)The house would benefit from a little more attention to the little touches that make a difference to guests. There is only one tiny TV, the walls are bare, and the rugs are small and a bit of a tripping hazard. The bathrooms are also small and definitely need updating, while some plusher towels would be most welcome, as would nicer toiletries. The backyard has a lot of potential, but could use some loving care.Despite these last comments, we would definitely recommend Tate House to others.
