About the home
"Beachcomber Bliss" is a beautifully presented 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home and a fabulous separate bungalow that doubles as a 4th bedroom and games room. It comes with many ways to entertain the whole family including a table tennis table, pool table. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The house features:
A modern well equipped kitchen, a renovated bathroom with relaxing deep bath and separate toilet, reverse cycle heater/air conditioner in the living area along with ceiling fan and cozy wood fire coonara, three bedrooms - two with queen size beds and built in robes, the other with 2 single bunks (ie. 4 beds). Please note the home is only licensed to sleep 6 people.
The bungalow features:
One set of Single bunks and a Single fold out bed
Pool table, table tennis table and sound system
Separate bathroom and toilet
Enough space to lock up a couple of motor bikes
Outdoor Area
The property is fully fenced, has a lovely outdoor deck with a BBQ and a hot & cold water outdoor shower.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with standard cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso compatible coffee pod machine etc. plus pantry, fridge, dishwasher, electric cook top/oven.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The living area is serviced by a split system reverse cycle air conditioner as well as a coonara heater and the bungalow has a wall mounted heater. There is also an electric blanket for the queen bed in the master bedroom. There are also ceiling fans in the Master queen bedroom, living room and bungalow.
Bedroom Configuration
This home has 9 beds, accommodating up to 6 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 4 (Bungalow): One set of Single bunks and one Single fold out bed
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.

Loved the rooms, and the games area was a real treat. Walking distance to Smiths Beach was handy too. Will book again.

We really enjoyed our stay here over Christmas. It was a great property with everything you needed for a family of four. The outdoor deck was great for entertaining including the BBQ and umbrella. Location was perfect, close to Smiths Beach which we visited a few times and a short drive into Cowes where we went every day for a coffee and out for dinner. Would definitely stay here again. The only feedback is that the bins were full when we arrived and it wasn't clear when bin night was so would be good to have a note on when to put the bins out so they can be emptied.
