The breakfast was excellent with a good variety. It was nice to have the flexibility to eat outdoors. The pool was a good size and well maintained with plenty of sunbeds. When we used it, we were lucky to have it to ourselves.
The hotel is in lovely quiet location. However there are no restaurants open in the evenings nearby, other than a very good pizzeria, 2- 3 miles away in Savigne, which is open every day including Sunday evening. There is a good choice of restaurants in Langeais, a 20 minute drive away. However we couldn't find one open on a Sunday evening.

Such a serene and magical place. The hosts were so lovely and encouraged us to use the foot paths and walk around the chateau ruins. We adored the dog, the cats and the horses on the property. This is a truly idyllic place to stay while visiting the Loire area. The Gite was beautiful and very comfortable for our group of 4 adults.
