Our stay at the condo was for 10 days the last week of May.
We absolutely LOVED the condo inside and out. The view was spectacular. One thing this condo has that not all Icon condos have, is a wrap around balcony. You can walk from the front of the tower where you can see the whole Bay of Banderas, around the side and all the way to the back of the tower where you can see the Marina and the cruise ships that are ported. I would have appreciated some deck furniture on the back side however.
We watched fireworks from the balcony every single night. So fun!
The condo is literally one block from the grocery store. We walked there everyday. If you go, DO NOT pass up the mangoes. We bought several each time. They are amazing!
We enjoyed the beach bar and poolside service and the cabanas are awesome to relax in. There was always one available.
Be aware that here you will be charged for your electricity usage. It will be taken from your deposit. I didn’t see this anywhere in the paperwork, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t there. It didn’t amount to a whole lot, but it did take away from our deposit.
We really felt like royalty staying at the Icon. As we strolled the beach we came to the determination that it is definitely the best place to stay in all of PV. We will for sure be back to Icon, Puerto Vallarta.

We couldn’t ask for better accommodations and amenities than this wonderful unit at Icon Vallarta. This was our 4th year at the Icon and second in this spacious 3 bedroom+ unit. The facility staff, and the unit’s manager, Marcos, are attentive and reliable... ready and willing to deal with any minor problems or questions we may have. Beds are comfortable, and each bedroom has it’s own en suite bath. They also have individually controlled AC, which is rarely needed because it’s possible to have a breeze through the entire unit with sliders open front and back. Concierges in each of the 3 buildings are available and most helpful when planning activities off the property, places to eat or visit, and how to get around. The kitchen has everything you need if you like to eat in... but, the little restaurant downstairs has a great, reasonably priced breakfast until noon every day but Wednesday. Afternoons until 6, food and drinks are available at the beach or poolside also everyday but Wednesday. Soriana grocery store is just a 3 block walk away, and a convenience store and drugstore even closer. Get around by cabs that come right to your building’s entrance or take the City busses that come by continuously throughout the day just 3 blocks away as well. (They have many new buses this year! And the cost went up to 10p which is still a mere 55c USD) per person). The views from the spacious wraparound balcony are awesome. Enjoy Sunrises in the mornings and gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. Watch the cruise ships come in and dock at the nearby Marina. And we saw lots of whales and calves in the bay this year. The owners are excellent to work with and we are so grateful that they are willing to share their vacation home with us. We are certainly looking forward to returning again next year!

We recently spent a month in this condo during our annual vacation to Puerto Vallarta. The unit was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen was wonderful. View from the deck of the ocean, sunsets, whales was awesome. WiFi worked well in the rooms and also around the pool area. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The location is great - with a grocery store just 2 blocks away, 24 hour drug store nearby, cabs and bus transportation nearby, banks and a Starbucks a 15 minute walk away at the peninsula. On site beach club provides breakfast in the morning and lunch or early dinner until 6 p.m. at a reasonable price as well as poolside service. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The owners were very easy to work with and the manager and concierge were always available and promptly responded to any questions or needs that came up during our stay. We’ve stayed at many different condominiums in the PV area over the years, and must say that ICON Vallarta is the best of all.
