It’s conveniently located, right by the shopping mall and beachfront.

Not my first time here and I really like it. However the couch in the sitting room has definitely served its time. It’s quite old, uncomfortable to sit on, and unfortunately degrades the space. The host initially gave me the wrong code for the key box. When I called, she simply told me to try another one, which worked. While the issue was resolved, I would have appreciated a simple apology or acknowledgment for the inconvenience.

Perfect location and well appointed. The availability of a storage facility was most welcome, as was the washing machine.

Underfloor heating appears not to be functional. We found a small fan heater which helped. It was not that cold - may be a bigger problem if it gets really cold.

Fantastic apartment! Highly recommned it. Great views, great amenities and a very hospitable host. What we also apprecitated was the secure gated parking - as 2 women, we felt safe especially since we were driving there and were able to leave our belonginings in the car. The apartment is adjacent to a mall, so you have easy acess to the local supermarket and other shopping. Swakopmund was also good stop to do day trips to Walvis Bay, Sandwich Harbour, Cape Cross and Skeleton Coast. We booked some excusrions through the host that we really enjoyed - very organised and fun. We stayed 3 nights, but could have easily stayed 2 more and enjoyed more of the town and other surroundings.

We had booked for twin beds, but got a large double bed - which was ok. Do note that the toilet/shower are within the bedroom - although they do have glass doors - it was a bit impersonal sharing with a friend. If you are family or a couple should be ok.
