Everything about our stay was perfect. Elena was extremely accommodating, the house was immaculate and with absolutely everything we needed. The area is gorgeous and secluded. The washing machine was an absolute bonus!

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.
Der Ort Vatolakos liegt in einem grünen Tal mit unzähligen Orangen-, Oliven- und Avocadobäumen. Gesäumt von den white mountains. Ein unglaubliches Panorama. Ruhig und gemütlich mit einer sehr guten Taverne. Im Nachbarort gibt es neben einem sehr gut sortieren Supermarkt auch eine Tankstelle und einen Bäcker. Nur 12 km von Chania entfernt und idealer für Ausflüge zu den Stränden, genauso wie zu den beliebten Schluchten und Küstenorten.
Großartige Gastgeber - wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und bereits mit Obst, Getränken und Brot versorgt. Jederzeit steht bestand Kontakt für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Hier fühlt man sich sehr wohl.
Das Apartment liegt absolut ruhig und bietet einen sehr großzügigen Außenbereich, sowie eine wunderbare Dachterrasse. Die Zimmer sind modern und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Betten sind neu und bieten ausgezeichneten Liegekomfort. Eine vollständige Küchenzeile mit allem Notwendigem, wie Kühlschrank, Eisfach, Kaffeemaschine, Gläser, Tellern, Besteck, etc. ist vorhanden. Das Bad verfügt über Dusche und auch eine Waschmaschine. Alle Fenster sind mit Mückennetzen versehen.
Mit Sicherheit werden wir hier zu Stammgästen!

We were delighted by the house and location. Hostess Helen could not have been more attentive and her parents, who run the local mini-market, were very welcoming. Well equipped kitchen with abundant solar-heated hot water. The house is not air-conditioned but its traditional construction keeps it cool. Not in a prime location for beach or nightlife, but excellent for exploring Western Crete. Particularly recommend the Botanical Park, a 15 minute drive up the road towards Omalos.
Struggling to think of dislikes. If pressed I'd mention that the local dogs bark quite a lot and the cockerels wake up early!
