A Wonderful Stay.

The Room was spacious,a nice sized Table,good wardrobe facilities.The Kitchen looked new and all utensils were spotlessly clean.The Balcony was a comfortable size,and a clothes dryer was provided.It was pleasant to not have to squeeze in the shower or toilet.Yiannis and his Mother kept the Apartment very clean throughout our stay.We were also treated to Mothers Cake which was delicious. Thankyou both,we hope to stay with you again.

Nino Kiknadze - I am from Georgia, this republic is located on the Black Sea coast. I am an associate professor of the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. I was on the island of Crete for the first time, in Platanias. The purpose of the visit was to participate in the 8th International Conference on Industrial and Hazardous Waste Management, which was held in Platanias from 27 to 31 May. Everything was top notch: the owner is great, friendly, helpful; the room is cozy, clean, furnished with comfortable furniture; the kitchen area is convenient for cooking; the bathroom is convenient for hygiene needs; wi-fi works flawlessly; a great view of the courtyard, which is furnished with beautiful flowers; the house is close to the sea and not far from the main street, so it is almost silent; the room is cleaned every 2 days; the hotel's appearance is excellent.

Everything was great, we liked absolutely everything. Pleasant circumstances and facts exceeded all our expectations. We will recommend John's apartments to all our friends to have a pleasant and comfortable time in Platanias.

nice apartments, clean bathroom, small kitchen with cooking plate and fridge, bed, desk and balcony. Everything I needed was there but also nothing extra. John was very nice and waited for me in the evening because I was arriving late...

Lovely place

Great location, very friendly family host, super clean apartment. Apartment was cleaned everyday which is incredible. Big balcony with lovely side view of Platanias Beach. Free parking in front of the house. Plenty of supermarkets and places to eat and drink within walking distance. Definitely recommended. We would love to stay here again.

Wifi didn't the reach the bedroom of our apartment but was good in the private living area. Probably that's not the case with other apartments in the house.

The location was perfect! Everything within walking distance, yet a very quiet and nice neighborhood. Really comfortable beds and aircondition with sleeping/silent mode.

The sink was leaking water all over the floor, and there was no shower curtain. Resulting in a completely wet toilet and bathroom. Dried up quickly, but still.

Awesome, above expectations

This is one of the best hosting experiences I had. The location is great, near the main street with restaurants and shops for evening walking and also near the sand beach. Also from my experience, this is a much better location than some closer to Chania (crowded and not so nice walking area). The owner and his family are great, very kind and very helpful always available to give you any kind of information. I rented a car with my girlfriend and we didn't have an issue with the part near this property. The room was great, with a big double bed with a soft mattress, also the size of the room was big. It can be seen they put the effort into details and you can find a lot of small things/ appliances in the room. There is everything you need to create lunch or expresso if you want to. In the room are also a dining table, Balkon with 2 chairs, table, and an umbrella so you can enjoy coffee or breakfast that you made in the morning. Beach near the apartment is very big and you have a lot of options where to swim. If there are strong North winds (July August) and you cannot swim because of the red flag your closes option is 8km Agiou Apostoli where you can also surf :), or visit some other beach in the south with a car. In our case during July, for 3 days we had strong winds and decided to try surfing for the first time :). I recommend highly this place for couples, who want a good base to stay for exploring the west create. At night if you don't want to travel to Chania with you are near to a good part of Platanias for a nice evening walk. I must also commend, they cleaned the room every day and changed sheets and towels often.

The bathroom is very small, there are no curtains between shower and toilet because of small space so water will spark over toilet. However, this didn't present an issue for us since everything functioned as it should.

Very kind and helpful staff willing to help you with anything at all. The location for me was perfect right where I needed to be. All the facilities were very good and I wanted for nothing. The room was very clean and tidy with a tv and safe was also provided with no added charges. There's no noise at all staying here it is nice and quiet in the evening but close to everything in Platanias. I'll definitely stay here again, 🙂😁😎

Er alt i alt meget godt tilfreds

Det var min svigerfar der boede på stedet, men mig der havde reserveret og talt med de søde værter. Det var rigtig nemt at kommunikerer med dem om indtjekning mm. selv om han var blevet meget forsinket. Det ligger MEGET tæt på en rigtig fin sandstrand, og lige midt i indre by, men alligevel på en roligere sidevej.

Skal jeg komme med den ENESTE grund til at vi ikke selv booker der til næste år, så er det kun fordi vore drenge foretrækker en pool, hvilket dette mindre sted jo ikke har. Ellers havde vi gjort det.

Struttura molto accogliente, camere molto grandi con letto comodo e angolo cottura molto utile, posizione ottima nel centro di platanias , a 2 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia, su 12 giorni per 10 giorni pulizia della camera e letto rifatto cosa molto buona! soggiorno molto apprezzato, consigliamo la struttura a chiunque venga a platanias

Difficile trovare qualcosa struttura tenuta molto bene e accogliente , forse la doccia un po’ scomoda perché ti fa bagnare dove c’è il gabinetto ma comunque non un problema per lavarsi.

Περάσαμε υπέροχα! Το διαμέρισμα ήταν άνετο και πεντακάθαρο, ιδανικό για ξεκούραση. Η τοποθεσία πολύ βολική ,κοντά σε ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε, αλλά και ήσυχη για χαλάρωση. Εξαιρετική σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής. Ο κύριος Γιάννης και η σύζυγός του ήταν ευγενικοί και φιλόξενοι άνθρωποι,μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε πολύ άνετα και μας εξυπηρέτησαν σε ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε. Η φιλοξενία τους έκανε τη διαμονή μας ακόμα πιο ευχάριστη!
