Glanafon Cottage

Beautiful interior and immaculately clean. Views out the back are wonderful.

They should’ve said it was on three floors. It smells of damp. The town Bethesda is a dump. When you pull up outside, it’s horrible.

Nice quiet area, close to the river, shops, etc. Well equipped kitchen. Nice linen, towels, etc and comfy beds. Spacious dining area. Good pressure in the shower - modern bathroom. Nice patio area with outdoor seating at the back.

The house hadn't been cleaned when we arrived, even though it was during check in time. No prior notice was given to tell us that there was a delay with the cleaning staff. We had to contact the owner and leave the premises for a couple of hours until the house had been cleaned. Despite the owner saying that a partial refund would be issued, it hasn't happened. The outdoor areas around the house looked neglected (big weeds growing everywhere). I wouldn't recommend the property for anyone with reduced mobility, due to large step at the front and an uneven path at the side.

The views were amazing. Cottage had everything needed and bed very comfortable. Also close to places / areas in travel to visiting . Would highly recommend cottage and would like to revisit in further. Also the host was very helpful and friendly when needed advice

Property could do with some general maintenance around the house. Carpet loose on stairs.
