Rosa dei Venti is an exceptional gem in Elba, thanks also to the fantastic hospitality of Paola and Stefano. The house is ideal for a couple that wants to have their own personal space and not feel cramped (the house is in two floors), and have the flexibility to go out at night or eat in. The kitchen is well equipped plus outside there is also a BBQ, which we didn't manage to use. The bed is big and comfy, it has a nice wardrobe and the bathroom annexed, even if small, is clean and comfortable. The space outside was amazing - aside from the BBQ, it had a nice table where we had our breakfast and dinners, and plenty of lounge chairs to relax afterwards. The house is very well located as well. You can reach the beach of Procchio in 5/10mins where you can go to the free beach or rent an umbrella with sunbeds - be aware, the free beach is the only place you can bring your pet! There is also a small but nice boardwalk that runs across the beach where you can find a few restaurants. There is a bakery just 2mins walk from the house, and supermarkets are only 5 mins walk. If you have a car, you will find yourself next to the main roads that connect the entire island. Portoferraio is less than 20mins away and you can get to Marina di Campo in 10mins. We highly recommend Rosa dei Venti if you want to stay in Elba - we are looking forward to coming back next time we come to Elba!
