Location
- very badly furnished; not even a chair to sit on (just a dirty looking sofa)
- main light not functioning, so had to stay in a rather dark lodgings;
- Lots of clutter which compounded the lack of space to move around.
- no shower curtain, so the bathroom flooded after every shower
- after booking, received multiple somewhat threatening emails about how if we take shoes into the room we will be charged 5 times the rent, if there is noise then police may be called and we will be thrown out. Hardly a warm Japanese welcome!
- finally kept getting scam messages asking for credit card information on booking.com — even the owners accepted that this was a scam, but the messages kept coming.
