Just such a great place to get some chill quiet relaxing time Loved it …..

A slice of tranquility and luxury

Absolutely everything was perfect from the moment we booked to the last step of the driveway.Incredibly friendly hosts, luxurious bedroom with the most amazing pillows beautiful bathroom and decadent bath with high end products like shampoo conditioner and biscuits. The outside gardens are divine with ample cosy seating areas with stunning views. The breakfast was perfect and as Maggie is an author I purchased a signed copy of her book❤️whilst I was there even there beautiful dogs are friendly and welcoming.

They could not do enough for you. The lack of places to eat was a draw back.

The owners treated us as visiting friends. Nothing was too much. Breakfast was excellent

The house was isolated, down a narrow lane, with many potholes. The pub in the village was closed, so we had to go several miles for a evening meal

Wonderful weekend in splendid Ebberley Escapes

Breakfast was delicious, eggs from the hens in the garden, locally sourced bacon and sausages and the pancakes were excellent too. The room was well equipped with tea, coffee and a fridge in the dining room for fresh milk and keeping wine cool. Maggie and Kevin were so accommodating with cushions on the chairs and a fire in the wild flower meadow so we could have a picnic. Meeting Molly and Paddy was a treat, I could have taken Molly home with us! Very close to RHS Rosemoor and Instow for a lovely evening meal. If you have a dog they have a marvellous 2 bed cottage which they kindly showed us around... so lovely we could have moved right in!

Devon roads can be very narrow!!

Brilliant!

The hosts Maggie and Kevin were really welcoming and friendly, and very attentive to any requests or queries we had. The breakfasts were excellent and the full English exactly how we wanted them. The location is fairly remote but that was part of the charm. However it's in easy reach of the North Devon beaches which are great for surfing as well as being beautiful beaches. It's great for walkers with the Tarka Trail nearby and the South West Coast Path easily accessible. The accommodation was high standard and really comfortable. We had a lovely couple of days there.

Fantastic B&B with amazing hosts who went the extra mile. Loads of little extras like a fridge for guests with fresh milk and cold water, eggs from their chickens, a beautiful garden to walk round and two of the best behaved dogs I’ve ever seen. The best B&B I’ve stayed in.

This is only a comment…NOT a complaint….our room was a little small for twin beds, would be OK though for the normal double bed layout.

A hidden gem

Maggie & Kevin are very friendly and welcoming hosts. The bedroom was excellent, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The bathroom was large with a spacious shower and a large bath. Breakfast was a mix of buffet style and freshly cooked items. Eggs, both chicken and duck, were collected by Kevin on the morning.

Lovely breakfasts and options available, the chilli jam was great with the eggs! Nice quiet area that doesn't take long to drive to some of the bigger towns. Our hosts Maggie and Kevin were super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and gave us some nice food recommendations from the local area. Would stay again

A wonderful, relaxing stay in a beautiful B&B and a scrumptious breakfast!

What an absolute gem. We had a marvellous stay in this beautiful B&B, Maggie and Kevin were extremely friendly and helpful, allowing us access to their wonderful garden and wildflower meadow for our evening picnics. Breakfast was superb and our room, Rosemoor, was very comfortable with a lovely big bathroom overlooking their paddock. All in all a great place to stay, very close to RHS Rosemoor and other gardens we wanted to visit. Thoroughly recommended. We will be back!

Probably the best B&B we have stayed in.

Kevin and Maggie were the perfect hosts and it felt as if we had known them for a long time. We were made to feel very welcome in the beautiful house and garden. Breakfast was excellent with local produce and eggs from the happy chickens and ducks kept by the owners. The room was great and included a very modern smart TV. The location was perfect for a visit to RHS Rosemore and to the Tarka Trail and also there were some very good pubs nearby.

The term 'Bed and Breakfast' really doesn't do this justice. Exceptionally spacious and clean accommodation in a beautiful setting. Maggie and Kevin are fantastic hosts, keen to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Breakfast was first class with lots of homely extras including the choice of fresh duck eggs and home-made marmalade. Very comfortable room with lots of extra space, huge bathroom and plenty of storage space available.

Very minor and appreciate the window looks onto an empty field but a roller blind in the bathroom wouldn't go amiss?
