You can see the ocean from the Living room and enjoy amazing mountain views and beautiful rainbows from the living room and lanai. The sunset can be viewed This Prince-Kuhio unit #306, overlooks historic Prince Kuhio Park and is a 1 minute walk to popular Lawai Beach and the Beach House Restaurant, and just a 5 minute walk to the beautiful new Kukui'ula Shopping Center, for shopping, gourmet farmers market and fabulous dining.
Located at Prince Kuhio complex on Lawai Road, this lovely condo is just across the road from the beach where you can snorkel, swim, surf and watch the perfect sunset...you may even witness a rare 'Green Flash'.
Our third floor unit, no elevator, is fully stocked with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. It has a nicely upgraded kitchen with granite counter tops, full range, microwave and full size refrigerator. The unit also offers a comfortable queen bed, full bathroom with walk in shower, new Smart TV with additional bedroom TV, DVD player, CD player and free upgraded wireless Internet. This unit comes fully furnished with kitchen items including microwave oven, linens, bath and beach towels, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, cable TV,free wireless internet, TV, stereo, CD & DVD player. and safe for your passport or valuables. Starter supplies of soap and paper products are provided. This condo does not have air conditioning, but normally tropical trade winds will keep you comfortable. Ceiling fans are in the bedroom.

The complex has a beautiful pool, large coin laundry room on first floor, convenient barbecue and picnic area, gorgeous tropical gardens and free parking including covered parking. Your rental also includes, two beach chairs, ice chest and beach towels. All you need is your bathing suit and toothbrush!

We encourage all our guests to consider taking out trip insurance travel and accomodations, because our cancellation policy is strict.

I booked this condo based on two key statements in the listing:** “You can see the ocean from every window (even the shower).”**The unit has a deadbolt lock for security.Neither statement is true.There is not an ocean view from every window.In fact, the only view of the ocean is from a single angle near the sliding glass door, and you must be seated facing that direction to see it. No other window provides an ocean view, including the bathroom. The bathroom window looks into the living room—not outdoors.Additionally, the unit does _not_ have a deadbolt, despite being advertised as having one. For someone traveling alone, especially an older guest, the absence of a promised security feature is concerning.

We arrived a couple of hours prior to check-in time and really appreciate being given early access to the condo. The rental is situated in a great location, with lots of options in the area (shops, restaurants, beaches). We found the bed to be very comfortable, the condo well decorated, and the shower was amazing. The grounds and pool area are beautiful.Our first night staying in Poipu was very hot with no breeze, so unfortunately the condo was uncomfortable even with all the windows open and both fans going. Add to that the local roosters that make a lot of noise, and the fact that there is occasionally cigarette smoke that wafts up from people in the park below, it made for difficult sleeping conditions. Obviously none of this is the fault of condo, but it's still worth mentioning for those who are sensitive to heat, noise and smoke. The lack of A/C keeps the rental cost down, so this is the trade-off. We were relieved that the following evenings were cooler, and the temperature inside the condo was no longer an issue.It's worth noting that the balcony is less than one meter deep, so the two chairs face each other, meaning that only one person can face the ocean view. It's a bit awkward to get in and out, so we ended up not using it which was disappointing.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay and were able to settle in the rhythm of Koloa and Lawai Road. The kitchen was well provisioned and we appreciated the beach chairs available for our use.

Great location with beautiful view that’s close enough to hear the waves. Very comfortable bed with super soft sheets. The only thing I would suggest is to be prepared to buy extra toilet paper if staying awhile. There’s a baby beach really close that you can walk to with hardly anyone there.

Loved the location, but there were some problems. The bed is/was terrible - lumpy and uncomfortable. Plus, there was no full-size couch to use as a substitute - only a four-foot rattan couch. So sleep was an issue.

Perfect for my wife and me. Fantastic location for coming and going for all our exploring! The VRBO property was incredible in every way, we love to cook and had a kitchen fully equipped with everything we needed! A beautiful view of the ocean from our living room, a very short walk to a beautiful beach and snorkeling, and across the street from our new favorite fine dining restaurant, The Beach House! Could not be happier with our choice of accommodations! And, excellent communication and help from the owners!

Location was great and plenty of parking available. Pool and grounds very nice. Not having a dishwasher or garbage disposal available or a fan in the bathroom was a disappointment. The lanai was the width of a dining chair. Could not enjoying eating a meal out there. I titled this review disappointed. If we had understood the limitations of the property perhaps we would have chosen something else.

The location, amenities, and space are everything you need if you plan on being gone most of the day and exploring(as we were.) They even left a helpful tour guide package on the desk! If i had one complaint, it’s that there was an overwhelming amount of notes and instructions for this place. So much that there was some basic information we had to dig for. Other than that we loved our stay!

We had a great time during our stay. The property is a 5-10 min walk from the shops at kukui’ula where there are restaurants and stores. It is also a 2 min walk from a great snorkeling beach. There is an amazing view of the sunrise from the lanai which was our favorite part!

Great place to stay! The location is very close to multiple beaches and walking distance to shops and food. The unit was very clean and beautiful views from the window. The kitchen was great allowed us to cook some meals in rather than going out! Florence was very helpful and answered all our questions.

We loved staying at Bill and Karen’s place! Everything you will ever need to top off your perfect vacation on Kauai. Beautiful sunsets, great snorkeling, and a perfect breakfast/lunch/dinner spot 2 min walk from the house on Lawai Beach. They were very accommodating and added the little extras to make it seem like home. Would absolutely recommend 1000 times over!!!

This place had everything we were looking for . Swimming pool, perfect beach to watch the sunsets and for lounging. The gardens are magnificent and everyone was so friendly! Close proximity to shopping was nice too! Maholo!

We felt the condo was very pleasant for the most part...my husband has allergies to dust, however, and don't know if the condo is given another "look" just before people arrive. IF it is dusted, etc. just before arrival that would be helpful to people with such allergies. We also felt that pillows need replacing (bumpy/lumpy). We bought sponges (Half a sponge was provided) and only decaf coffee was provided (we brought our own but getting in late and hoping for real coffee the next morning would have been a disappointment if we hadn't), and we were told that coffee for the next morning would be provided. I sent an email to specifically inquire about the beaches at the location since we love to swim and snorkel. I was told that wonderful beaches were just across the street. We don't like to get banged around just to get into the water...or waiting for low tide just to see some sand. This proved to be the case for us. We had to go to other parts of the island to find beaches (i.e., with sand...and swimming/snorkeling availability). So if you have been to other places with such accommodations, as we have, you will be disappointed.

Super cute and super clean! The deck is tiny but you are still able to see the ocean from the lanai and really all you need to do is cross the street and you are there. Sunsets every night. The pool and grounds were immaculate and oh my gosh, all of the orchids were gorgeous! We plan to be back in 2024.

The condo was exactly as described, and photos were accurate. The decor was island-themed. The condo had doors/windows at the front (kitchen) and living room (back) so that the breeze flowed through and kept us perfectly comfortable. There were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We liked to have breakfast on the little balcony, which had an ocean view. We could hear the surf all night. The manager sent us detailed instructions before our arrival. Everything worked out perfectly! We loved it, and next time we're in Kauai, hope to stay here again! Highly recommended!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our unit, especially the two TV’s. The sun room was gorgeous and we spent most of our time enjoying sitting be watching movies with the ocean breeze. We loved the layout and the large shower as well. We will definitely come back!

Great property. More information is needed about how to contact the manager. The wind blew the door shut and I was locked out. No phone or keys. I had no idea how to contact the manager so I broke a slat in the door and screen to get back in. I contacted Florence and let her know what happened. And of course offered to pay for the damage. I sent her pictures which she said she never received. She now says I damaged 2 slats. In addition she accused me of dislocating the headboard and not telling her. After the cleaning lady came I was then accused of leaving candy wrappers all over and having marijuana in the condo. I would suggest taking pictures before you leave so this doesn’t happen to you!
