Gulf Haven is a recently remodeled three-story, four-bedroom, three full and one-half-bath beach house with close to 2,400 square feet of living space and a convenient one-car garage with a golf cart. This home has been professionally decorated and furnished in a coastal beach décor with no carpeting.
Downstairs you’ll find a spacious living room, dining room and fully appointed kitchen with an eat-in breakfast area, refrigerator (ice maker is not functional), microwave, stove, dishwasher, 12 cup coffee pot, Keurig, and garbage disposal. There is a separate laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer and a large laundry sink. In addition to the main living areas downstairs, there is a large private master suite plus an additional half bath in the foyer.
On the second floor, you’ll find two additional guest bedrooms with two full baths and a separate sitting area with a sleeper sofa. Continue up to the crow’s nest for the fourth bedroom with 360° views of Martinique, the adjacent Bon Secour wildlife refuge, and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.
Other features include 9- and 10-foot ceilings, ceiling fans, new central heating, and air conditioning, lots of storage areas, two porches, and one screened patio.

The home was very clean and accommodating. Would choose this home again in the future. My only complaint is the thermostat on the second floor reset to 74 every evening and the 3rd floor was pretty hot so my daughter ended up sleeping on the couch.

My family had a wonderful time staying at Gulf Haven! The house was very clean, everything worked and we had everything we needed to cook meals and even toys for the beach. We felt like we didn't need to bring as much because the house had everything we needed! The facilities were well taken care of as well. The pool, the staff, everything was perfect and just what we needed.

We rented Gulf Haven, a 3 BR 3 1/2 bath house. The location was close to the beach on Marin Way. The layout of the house was great for our adult children and grands. We enjoyed having the pool near the ocean, and the indoor/outdoor option in the neighborhood. Our included golf cart broke down on Tuesday and was finally replaced late Wed. This created issues of getting to and from the beach with small kids. We had expected some type of compensation for this lost amenity but it was not forthcoming. We we paid for 3 parking passes but we’re not allowed to park all vehicles at the house. One was parked and left at beach/pool lot. I have not heard from management concerning adjustments to be made for the 2 days without the golf cart.
