Lots of local eateries around Location is perfect for early flight AC in the room worked well Bathroom functional, but clean. Wifi worked well Bed had a firm mattress, but comfortable Rooftop with views of the airport

I arrive about 8pm, so not late and I kept the hotel up to date on my arrival. The staff who check me in was really unfriendly, almost hostile. But the other staff I saw the next morning were much more friendly. No chair or table to work on. No elevators in the building.

This was my third stay at Yam Yen, and it never disappoints. Super comfortable, convenient, and always a great experience. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable — I slept so well.

The staff are flexible with check in times and also provide transport to the airport for a small fee.

There are no windows in the rooms, so no natural light. We booked a twin room and ended up with a double bed and a single bed, rather than the advertised bunk beds, which is fine apart from there was no duvet or top sheet for the single bed, only a woolly blanket that didn’t look very nice to use and was far too hot given the climate, so we ended up having to share the double bed anyway. We did ask at reception and they said the only option was the blanket which we found very odd. The AC is also not that powerful, but eventually managed to cool the room down. Also be aware there is no lift, so you will need to carry any cases up the stairs or leave them down in reception.
