A cozy cottage in the heart of beautiful volcanic mountains

Above all, the cottage is in an absolutely amazing place on the shore of a lake where you can swim, in the heart of beautiful volcanic mountains. It is an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling trips. We would love to come back here again sometime.

The only thing that bothered me were the chairs with legs to the sides, which I was constantly tripping over :-)

Great location, cabin large with 2 bedrooms and 2 en suites with glorious views

Location and views were spectacular. The reception staff were helpful and very welcoming. The swimming pool was great. Good walks direct from the site Sandy beach by the lake with hotel which looked closed. Restaurant and bar overlooking the lake

The restaurant had a very limited menu, fast food and unimaginative. Campsite was accessible to the public so not very secure. When booking it seemed to be very busy but was extraordinarily quiet perhaps this was reflected in the overpriced cabin

Beautiful quiet lakeside spot

Gorgeous location by a lake, with hikes and swimming a stone's throw away. Nice warm swimming pool. Lots of games spaces. Caravan had a well equipped kitchen.

Be aware that bedlinen is provided at an extra charge of €10, no towels are provided, and guests are responsible for end-of-stay cleaning.

Great place to stay while exploring the massif central

Had a very plassend stay in one of the cabins. They are fully equipped and are very comfortable. Just beside the lake and Cratère du tartaret. Murol is just a 15 minute walk away where you have a bakery and supermarkets.

The beds are only 190cm long, so if you are a little longer than the average french men you will have your feet dangling out. Its a microwave only not a microwave oven, not a big deal but would have been nice.

Séjour agreable et ressourçant

L’équipe a été très accueillante. Ils sont tous très impliqués pour que chaque vacancier passe un agréable séjour. Nous avons pu profiter des animations tout au long de la semaine avec beaucoup de plaisir. Le camping est au calme dans les arbres, au bord du lac. Le panorama est magnifique, avec des levers et couchers de soleil sur le lac dont on ne se lasse pas.

Il manque une supérette pour des achats de 1ere nécessité. Beaucoup de mouches pendant 3-4 jours. Problème de gaz, pui de chauffe eau puis terrasse (lames qui ont laché). Mais personnel très réactif !

Le camping est à taille humaine, familial et calme. Les deux piscines sont très bien et propres. Le mobil-home l'était également. Les lits sont confortables pour quelques jours. La proximité avec le lac est parfaite.

La qualité et la gentillesse de l’équipe et des auvergnats en général. L’environnement magnifique avec beaucoup d’activités. La piscine neuve et spacieuse

L’équipement parfois vétuste notamment la literie. Une mauvaise information sur les risques de baignade dans le lac régulièrement contaminé par des cyanobacteries (nous l’avons appris à la pharmacie notre fils ayant eu une crise d’urticaire)

Emplacement idéal ( proche du lac) et calme a cette époque. Le cottage était un peu en retrait, sur les hauteurs, au calme. Le personnel est très sympathique et à l’écoute. Petit problème d’eau chaude à l’arrivée rapidement résolu.

Entre forêt et lac, un havre de paix vous attend.

Un petit havre de paix entouré de verdure, parfait pour qui cherche calme et sérénité, tout en restant proche de lieux à explorer. Merci à notre voisin (équipe du camping)pour son aide matinale et bienveillante avec notre voiture 🙏🚗 Une belle attention qui nous a beaucoup touchés.

La taxe animale de 9 € par jour nous a semblé particulièrement élevée.

Calme et bien situé, le domaine du Lac est très bien équipé et ses cottages top. Le personnel est agréable et compétent tant pour la partie camping que restaurant.

Le seul bémol à mon sens est l’absence de barbecue mais cela peux se comprendre par la localisation des cottages au milieu des pins

L accueil est plus qu' agréable, le cadre idyllique ,les mobil home sont hyper confortables très bien agencés et d'une propreté irréprochable. la situation géographique est parfaite pour visites randonnées à vélo ou à pieds
