Great location, terrace amazing, all around great place to stay

Homebase is an excellent place to stay while visiting the beautiful island of Paros. We loved the fact there were two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. The whole place was clean with all the necessities needed to feel like a home away from home. The upstairs bedroom led off to an amazing outdoor terrace. High above the other buildings around to watch the sun set. I would highly recommend Homebase as your place to stay. George was very friendly and helpful giving us great tips while on Paros. Would definitely stay here again. He even accommodated our last night as we stayed one extra night by allowing us to stay in the lower apartment.

Not a complaint by any means, the spiral staircase leading upstairs was a little tight. I had no issue with it. I actually loved it. Just letting people know if stairs are an issue for individuals.

Good

Good location, quiet but near the centre, a small beach and the port. Clean, well-equipped and well-furnished in a quirky boho style. Lovely roof terrace and a small balcony off the living room. Nice bedrooms and two showers rooms.

Have to point this out. All three of us are over 75 and though the place is very nice indeed it was very inconvenient for us. There are two flights of stairs (no lift) from the front door to the living space/kitchen and then a very narrow spiral staircase up to the second bedroom and terrace. To be fair the host did carry all our luggage up for us but for example difficult to eat on the terrace as everything would have to be juggled up and down this tight set of stairs which was a pity. Would not book it again, sadly.

The location was great. The balcony was amazing. George was a fantastic host. Our stay in Paros was our favorite part of our trip!

Exceptional

Everything was perfect and worth the price. Water, juice, pastry and wine at our arrival. The place is so cosy and functional compared with what you can get in the area. George was so nice and helpful during our stay. You have to walk only 2 minutes in the cutest white little street to find the sea front, full of terraces, restaurant, a beach, etc. Note that there is no daily cleaning like in other type of rentals, but we asked for clean towels and sheets during our stay and George brought them. We loved Parikia and our apartment / little house that has a rooftop that offers the best view !!!

Little gem in the heart of parikia

I loved the house. It has a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy the sunset. The house was very clean and had food facilities like a coffee market, little kitchenette etc. The host George was absolutely lovely too. He was always there to help. He met us at the port and helped us with our luggage. Highly recommend staying here

Perfect Parikia stay

Had the most fantastic week in George's property which is on a quiet pathway in the old town. A one minute stroll to the water, shops and restaurants. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the roof terrace is amazing. George gave us plenty of tips on where to eat etc. Thanks again George.

Location is perfect for Entertainment, Old Town and Parking. Both balconies are a bonus to profit from the all day sun. Apartment is spacious and has all you need. George is very friendly and informative.

Exceptional

The location was fabulous- so close to restaurants, shops and the beach. The apartment is clean and well equipped, George even left a bottle of wine for us! He was also the best host- provided an easy meeting place at the port, then walked us to the apartment. He even came to the apartment when we let him know we couldn’t figure out how to open the screen door and he personally showed us how it works. He gave us recommendations for restaurants and tours and was overall very responsive to any questions or concerns. We would highly recommend staying at George’s apartment.

There is a spiral staircase to go upstairs and it is a really tight fit at the top- we didn’t dislike the staircase as it lends character to the apartment; however, it should be noted that for a larger person or someone with mobility issues, it would be hard to navigate- the 2nd bedroom is upstairs.

Home away from home

Everything was perfect, the location the house could not be better, quiet but only a couple of minutes walk to the shopping district as well as ro the sea. It was extremely well equipped incl all small details, I also liked to have a washing machine for example. The terrace was the best in the neighborhood with great views.

We had no problem but the stairway up to the terrace is very steep something to consider if you have problem walking or with very small kids

Don't book this place, for the same money or even less you can find a better service!!

George wasn't a polite persone. Our boat was cancelled and the 2nd was delayed. We cannot received the updates from the administrator of the appartament and when we try to reach the place the address was wrong!! Even worse: the number is an Albanian number and we cannot get informations. When finally we find George he insisted to get an extra payment because he believed well be 4 pax and not 3. ( 1 friend whom travel with us but stayed at other place). We finish to get a d8scussion with George. After a very stressed day with transport cancellations we really don't expected to find a confused inacurated description of the location, and even less a very bad welcomen. Don't book this place, for the same money or even less you can find a better service!! Avoid stress and impolite behaviour. Big disappointment!

This is a charming appartment with a fantastic location in the heart of Parikia. Great views from the balcony & loved the view of the sunset. The host was great & very welcoming. The appartment is well equiped. Love the spiral staircase! This comes highly recommended if you want a feel for Greek living!
