The Lincoln Lighthouse is named for its location on a promontory above the Pacific Ocean. You will be in awe of the panoramic views from many rooms and the deck in this charming and immaculate home. The 3 primary suites make this the perfect home away from home for extended family or groups of friends who want both togetherness and places to retreat to. The living area is beautifully decorated and features a living room with a gorgeous fireplace, UHD TV and Blu-ray player. The gourmet kitchen features a large island and quartz countertops and begs to be used for special meals. From the living area, french doors give access to a spacious deck overlooking the ocean. A dining set and barbecue give the opportunity for outdoor meals while enjoying the pleasant Oregon weather, the magnificent sunsets, and the stars. The downstairs also features a media room with a fireplace, UHD tv, blu-ray player, classic video games and outdoor spa. Surfing enthusiasts will be thrilled to know they can see the world-famous Nelscott Reef right from the deck. You can access miles of sandy beach via a long and steep set of stairs next door, or from easy beach access just a few blocks away. Lincoln Lighthouse’s central location in Nelscott puts you within walking distance of restaurants, bars, the community theater at Theatre West and Lincoln City’s largest used bookstore. The house is modern and spacious and we enjoyed our time there. The view is magnificent and beach access (down a very long staircase equivalent to seven stories) is only one house away. This house is three levels: ground floor with one bedroom and its own bath, plus a large media room with two sofas, up 14 steps to the kitchen/dining/living area with a half bath (all very comfortable and in good shape), and then up 16 more stairs to two more bedrooms with their own baths. The hot tub was warm and enjoyed by one of our group, and we had a dog with us. Our only comment was that there was no ice-maker for the refrigerator, which bothered a few people. Overall a very nice house.

We were able to check in early for a small fee, which made the start of the trip very enjoyable. We love Neslo Beach and we’re able to see some whales so that was cool too. Well definitely rent this property again.

This property was less than expected. View to the south is beautiful, however directly behind is obstructed by trees & brush. The house is not equipped with any extras that most rental homes provide. Bring your own coffee and dish/hand soap. We were washing pans with bar soap the first night as we were not given the xtra small bottle of dish soap & 2 dishwasher pods until the next day. (This is their welcome pack). There was a a hint of urine smell in the staircases and the carpet is worn. Kitchen was perfect for our family dinners. Outside deck has been neglected and plexiglass is dirty with algae. I did reach out to let Meredith Lodging about the cleanliness of the outside area. Hot tub was not working only heating to 97 degrees, so we did not partake. Overall it worked out okay, just disappointed as this property is upper end but ended up being the lowest on my list of vacation homes visited over my many years of visiting the Oregon Coast.
