DaySea Cottage - Meredith Lodging
This is a spacious oceanfront landing spot for large gatherings of family and friends. It's a great room, with a cottage-style kitchen, a dining area that includes a breakfast bar, and a traditional living room that is warmed by a large stone fireplace and the sun streaming in the large windows across the front of the home. That unobstructed view of the Pacific is echoed upstairs in two king bedroom suites with windows large enough that you won't have to get out of bed in the morning to see the ocean! The kids will be equally delighted with a large bunk room that sleeps 8 and has toys, books, and a TV for their amusement. Flat screens in the living room and one of the king bedrooms, a DVD player, and Wifi will keep you connected. But you might just want to disconnect when you see how close you are to the rocky promontory near the end of Roads End, where hiking and tide-pooling beckon. Your Roads End location also puts you within an easy drive to the Chinook Wind Casino, shopping, dining, and all the delights of Lincoln City, another great reason to book some sea days at DaySea!

My mom wanted a weekend with her kids. Earlier in the year she had broken her ankle so walking is not easy. This house was perfect for her. Most everything was on the main level, including the bedroom we assigned her to. She was able to sit for hours and watch the ocean which she loved.
As for the rest of the house, it was great for having little kids. A play area upstairs that kept the kids entertained, and not a bunch of toys being in everyone’s way. Lots of room for everyone to have space by themselves.
I rent lots of properties and when they say “fully stocked” they mean it. I usually bring my own pots and pans to prepare for a large group, but I didn’t need too. There was a crockpot, waffle maker, electric griddle.
Check in was great, after we worked through some issues, that may have been because of my own mistake with putting in my phone number inaccurately.
I would suggest this home to anyone that wants the beach for a great quiet gathering.

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

We've been renting this home for many years, & have so many wonderful memories. This time we got off to a rough start. When we arrived the toilet on the main floor had a big mess in it. So we flushed the toilet & it overflowed all over the floor. Obviously that bathroom had not been cleaned. After the plumber left, I had to sanitize the bathroom & floor myself. Also the carpeting upstairs didn't appear to have been vacuumed. We love the house, & all of the amenities. Housekeeping did not do it's job this time.
