Tiny Home cabin Eilidh

Beautiful peaceful location with charming, clean and cosy tiny homes. Good facilities. Friendly staff.

It would have been nice to have a double bed instead of twin beds in the sleeping loft as we are a couple. The designated barbecue area was nearly on the footpath which felt a bit public and not so convenient, so we decided to use the oven instead. It might have been better if it was round the back for a sense of privacy. Would have been good to have curtains that we could use while the doors were open as we felt a bit overlooked if we wanted fresh air.

Cabin exceeded our expectations. Had originally booked Saoirse but due to a website lag was moved to Hygge. Host communicated promptly and offered free cancellation if that was an issue. Meadow was lovely and everything is so well maintained. The cabin is stocked with everything you could think of. Just a note to be aware the cabin only has usb plugs so newer iPhone cables won’t work, however the caravan by reception is mains powered so was a good incentive to get off our phones and save battery.

Location beyond imagination, scrumptious banana cake by the owner, unique experience of composting toilet, fulfilling basic amenities and very eco friendly.

Lovely location, peaceful, wildflower meadow full of butterflies and bees.

Of two beds, one was made up, the other consisted of a futon in a bag with no sheets available, so my son had a somewhat uncomfortable stay. No mains voltage, everything operates on 12volts. Weird. The composting loo had a very shallow peeing bowl at the front, easy for men to let bits dangle and touch this rather unpleasant bow. Just no! And I think for what one gets, rather poor value.
