About this house rental
This is a detached house built from local stone, situated in a quiet, lush, rural setting without overlooking neighbors, yet not completely isolated. It is accessed via a lane that leads into the forest. You have the use of a well-maintained, tree-filled garden of approximately 1,000 m² in front of the house; it is unfenced (though the access lane sees very little traffic).
The house enjoys a great aspect and is bright throughout the day.
It is spacious and comfortable.
You can enter either through the kitchen or the living area, which is arranged around the fireplace (where you can enjoy a cozy fire on autumn or early spring evenings).
The house sleeps up to 6 people and features 2 private bedrooms, separated by a third, non-private bedroom that opens onto the staircase.
You will appreciate the shaded, flower-filled outdoor terrace—perfect for meals and naps under the arbor—as well as the views of the countryside, surrounding woods, and sunset.
Parking is available on the property.
The house offers all the features and comforts of 3-star accommodation.
Optional fees:
- Bed linen and towels: €16 per person
- End-of-stay cleaning: €75 if you do not wish to do it yourself

Lovely gite in a quiet rural location but close to major sites and 5 minutes away from the beautiful town of Sarlat. Michel was very welcoming and helpful.

We stayed 12 nights in September in this farm house - close to all the sights around Sarlat - comfortable lounge, good kitchen ( careful with the oven temperatures - it burns hot ) , beds were comfortable, beautiful setting with lovely outdoor seating and table for a meal or a wine under the wisteria/tobacco climbers.
Bathroom was small but OK.
Michel and Marie were perfect hosts - friendly, informative and helpful.
Short drive to Sarlat and supermarkets etc
Perfect for 2-4 adults - a couple of spare beds also available as well
Totally recommended - and we would be happy to return.
