Excellent property in a perfect location – close to everything while still being quiet and pleasant. The apartment was very clean, well maintained, and fully equipped, which made the stay very comfortable. A special mention goes to the host, who was extremely kind, helpful, and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed from the very beginning. Check-in was smooth and communication was easy throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again in the future.

The courtyard and rooms are very aesthetically pleasing with quaint brickwork and timber. The location is very central, but tucked away down a gorgeous side street that take it away from the main area. The room was very comfortable. The host provided a great resource PDF for recommendations about parking in Ragusa and nearby attractions and restaurants - obviously plenty of work put into it.
Breakfast was advertised on the Booking.com page but not provided. Plenty of nice places to grab a bite nearby though. 'Parking' was also advertised on the Booking.com page but this is not the case, you have to find public parking which is tricky and not necessarily near the property. Despite us having arrived before 8pm (within check-in time), there was no host to meet us meaning we had to check in remotely - usually fine, but dead phones meant this became difficult. We were not informed about any of the spa or wellness resources that are apparently on offer.

Luigi, the host, was very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom area was beautifully lighted and pleasing with stone walls, original to the structure. It is a short walk to the Duomo area and walkable to most things you want to see in Ragusa Ibla.
The bathroom was small and dated, with a plastic sided shower. The bathroom door did not fully close. This could be fixed with an update, because there is space that could be used to extend the bathroom ( adjacent kitchen area, which really isn’t very functional). The apartment we stayed in is right on a walking path and those who were outside on the first night we were there engaged in an extended shouting match around midnight followed in the morning by cats fighting outside our door. This was out of the control of the host, but not a relaxing situation.
