Niria

Room was very large with bed, couch that could be a bed but think it would be very uncomfortable, bathroom nice and large. Desk, small fridge, coat wall rack great for hanging wet clothes and jackets, purses, etc. Air conditioning worked great, nice to have. Room situated in a great place 2 blocks from Basilica and bus stops to get around. Restaurants nice and close also. Parking out front of building where space allows and pay 1Euro per hour between 8-8pm. Had no wifi as mentioned but owner was so very kind and lent us her wifi for our business purposes. Did not ever meet anyone at all, transactions done by email but all went very well.

No email for our arrival had to wait about 15 min till response. Bathroom had no shelf in shower, nowhere to put shampoo and stuff of your own. Sink was pedestal with no place to put items, just a small round metal table with shelves for toiletry bags. Bed was very hard and pillows too thin for me, but my husband liked it.

No-frills stay in the center of Ragusa. Definitely nothing fancy, but also nothing wrong with it either. Space heater was greatly appreciated during a cold front. Check-in was simple and staff were not seen on site but friendly in online communication.

Honestly, nothing stands out negatively as this is obviously a budget accommodation and it was clean, tidy and functional. Only thing worth mentioning as a good-to-know is that coffee needs to be bought & paid for extra in the lobby, and can only be paid in small coins, so if you're in need of a morning coffee, either have 50 cent coins at the ready or prepare to get it elsewhere.

The only thing that I don't like was the checkout. You have to open the main door from the inside first, and then go back upstairs for leaving the keys of the room.

Parking was easy to find, the host was very responsive and helpful. Apartment was clean. Price was fair.

The rooms did not look at all like the pictures. There were two “windows”, one to the interior stairwell and a small roof skylight. So, no real windows at all, very very dark.
