Love Sheringham

Great location, good pub for food opposite. Shops etc easily accesible. Lovely peaceful location

Husband struggled with stairs due to knee issues, but that is just a personal issue. Cottage its self is beautiful and ideal for just two people.

We had a fabulous weekend in Fishermans and didn't want to leave

The location is perfect, street parking was very easy. Fishermans is a very pretty cottage and ticks all the boxes.

There wasn’t anything we didnt like.

TINY cottage, great location..NO PARKING

The location just off Sheringham High Street was great. Walking distance to the seafront & railway station.

There is NO PARKING whatsoever. The closest unlimited free parking is 5/10 minutes walk away. This should be made clearer in the advertising. The cottage is TINY. Only suitable for maximum 2 persons. I dont know how it can be advertised for + 2 kids. There is very minimal storage & we had to take our small cases back to the car once unpacked as nowhere to store the. It wasnt very clean. Which i reported to the owner on Day 1 and he did come out & clean up - but it should have been cleaned before we arrived.

Nothing the owner didn’t seem bothered after my email

Filthy disgusting had not been cleaned the kitchen and bathroom were disgusting the shower cubicle was really dirty !! The shower cut out and didn’t work properly needs a decent cleaner as this had not been cleaned !! 3 key safes only have the one you use ridiculous. I would not recommend this place unless the shower was replaced and a deep clean given .

Was down for a family funeral and this property gave me an affordable, quiet, private bolt hole to get away from the res

It was central and had everything I needed including peace and quiet. The wifi was excellent.

It doesn’t have parking but that was easily rectified by using the available 45 minute parking options on the street to unload my car, which I then moved to another street with no restrictions a short walk away.

thanks neil for the pleasant stay

the location was too noisy for me mainly because of all the bins against outside wall i was worried about the blue poison and rat trap.i know its difficult for everyone who has this problem:smell of food but im worse as i have a phobia for rats.i did not see any but the fact the trap and poison were there drew my attention to it.i shut the windows.

it is what it is:reasonably priced holiday cottage,mid town location.Too noisy for me as residential with shared facilities.Bins against our outside wall.I would like to remove my comments about rats as i did not see anything.The boxes were there just as a precaution so i should not want to put anyone off staying here just because i have a phobia so on reflection it was unfair of me as this cottage is an ideal stay over for most.Thanks Neil

excellent location and good value for money.

Information before attending was very detailed. Lots of information for directions and parking. Location was perfect and once you had sorted your parking it was easy. It was great to have tea and coffee available and there was shops very handy to get milk. Great location for the beach as just a short walk away

Parking initially was a challenge. Shower base needed some bleach as was looking a little old but was a very small thing in an amazing little cottage. I would definitely return

Location great walking distance only 1min to main St .cottage is very sweet and cosy. Very good bed.tv and dvd plus cupboard of games.

The cottage needs a deep clean .shower area needs lime scale treatment. Bedroom needs painting and cobwebs around furniture have been there for a very long time. Kitchen needs new kettle and toater.The cottage has been set up with care and love but 12 years on it needs a bit of love and care again.

Enjoyable and would return

The cottage is in a very good quiet central location and although small is functional and cosy. When un packing I would suggest you put your cases/bags in your car boot to free up room.

This is not the fault of the hosts but the previous occupants had not cleaned their plates and utensils very well, this would not deter me from staying again.

Had a nice few days staying at the cottage visiting family and friends

In a good location close to all the shops, cafes and restaurants.

The shower kept tripping and turning itself off so had to keep resetting it. Unable to use shower a couple of mornings as not working. Electric box difficult to get to as under a kitchen corner cupboard.

Great house but disappointing, dirty, and an arrogant owner.

It was very dirty. Cobwebs, old ones, in the corners. Everything in the kitchen was dirty, covered in a film of grease. Oven filthy, toaster filthy, sink dirty, taps filthy. Crockery dubious. Glasses disgusting. I had to scrub a cup before making a drink. The bed linen was clean but the bed not made properly. Shower dirty, mould around the seals, panels not cleaned, no surfaces cleaned and the bathroom tap very very dirty. I couldn't cook there because of the dirt. I reported all this to Neil, as he requested, but instead of sending a proper cleaner the next day, Neil rage texted at midnight telling me I had to be out at 10am. This was on the first day of my holiday! I didn't leave, obviously because I hadn't broken the contract, Neil had. He didn't send a cleaner. Two bath towels, one completely thin and frayed. One hand towel in the bathroom. This property is for two people, so there's not enough towels. In the kitchen one washing up sponge and one teatowel. No cloths, no kitchen roll, no hand towel. Heaven help you if you spill something on the floor because there's nothing to clean it up with. Thankfully I didn't. No kitchen scissors. It's important to note that my arrival time had been confirmed as 2-3pm. I arrived at 3.20 to find a schoolgirl in school uniform complaining that she'd only been out of school for ten minutes and was about to start 'cleaning'!!!!!! Therein lies the problem. Neil's claims are false. It's not immaculate, he doesn't care about Covid safety, nor is he 'determined' that his guests have a good stay.

I considered the Staircase handrail to be a health and safety hazard. The handrail should start at the bottom step and continue to approx.45cm beyond the top step.

Hidden gem, very comfortable little cottage, everything was within walking distance. We parked in a council carpark nearby, which was very reasonable. Set back from the high street so it's very quiet at night.

Great traditional cottage in perfect location

Quaint traditional cottage, perfect for our 2 night stay to visit family. Location is perfect, parking not an issue in the vicinity. Clean accommodation, kitchen basics were available, very comfy bed ensured a good sleep (after a long walk along the coastal path), shower was ok, running water was always piping hot.

Some of the provision was a little limited. Kitchen towel would be useful and perhaps some cling film in order to keep food fresh. I recommend you add a bin in the bathroom as most women would need this.
