About this apartment rental
This condo is a one BR one bathroom end unit (no neighbor). Also it is a second floor unit so there is no noise from above. It was painted on March 1 and new luxury vinal flooring installed at that time. The condo is extremely clean and easily maintained. There is a large wall mounted LCD TV. Hi speed internet is included. In addition to the living room A/C there is a second unit in the BR. All kitchen utensils, dishes, coffee maker, pots and pans, crock pot, microwave are provided. The kitchen also has a dishwasher. The unit has a new full size washer and dryer. Wash cloths and bathroom towels included. I might have overlooked other amenities but they are probably there too. The enclosed porch overlooks the swimming pool and a small fishing pond. A dock is included with the rental and is 2 MINUTES to Lake Erie at no-wake speed. You do not need a boat to fish. There are two fishing ponds in the complex in addition to the marina. I can provide 2 children's fishing poles if requested along with a basketball and tennis rackets for the two courts on the premises. Just let me know. For those not familiar with the area there are numerous charters available around and in the complex. You do not need to fish to enjoy this area. Birders find the 10 minute drive to the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge a favorite spot although all the marshes and fields hold the birds they are looking for. The Jet Express, Miller's Ferry, and Kelly's Island Ferry are all within easy driving distances. Cedar Point, African Wildlife Safari, Put-In-Bay, East Harbor State Park, Marblehead Lighthouse, and the Castalia Fish Hatchery are just a few of the many attractions in the area. Toledo offers the world famous Toledo Art Museum, Toledo Mud Hens, and the Toledo Zoo among its attractions. Also there is an interesting book in the condo that describes numerous attractions (mostly free) that are interesting and relatively unknown. There is free parking under a carport directly below the condo. There is a full size bed and a single roll out bed along with an air mattress. Public transportation is available for those that desire (or need it). The complex itself is quiet. Swans and geese roam the complex and eagles and their nests are common to the area especially at Metzger's Marsh and Crane Creek (as well as across the street). Other wildlife (some surprising) frequent the marsh on the property.
