A quiet getaway that is less than a mile from Howard Marsh, and only a quick drive to Maggie Marsh, Maumee state Park and Meinke marina. It is in close proximity to a marina, with ample parking for a boat. Free boat ramp 7mi drive. This welcoming house will provide comfort during your stay wherever you decide to adventure: birding, fishing, swimming, or just relax. Home is pet friendly. No weight limit.
We provide a breakfast treat to enjoy during your stay along with your coffee out on the balcony or on the way to the Lake.

Fantastic location for birdwatching with Howard Marsh across the highway and other parks nearby. Beds are comfortable and downstairs sofa bed is comfortable for one person. The stairs to the bedroom are a little tricky for less mobile presons but fine for most. I loved the balcony and back patio and the kitchen was fully stocked with pans, utensils, etc; The coffee maker is a kuerig. Jack's superette is only 2 miles away and had all the groceries we needed. Good price and great communication with Rebecca...I would rent again if I come back to the area.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Great location for birding, within 15 minutes of many marshes and Metroparks! Appreciated that it was pet friendly. Don’t sleep on trying Bono Tavern right down the street during your stay.

Great location for bird watching at the nearby marshes. I love the loft style of the house as well as the pine wood ceilings! We used the firepit, was nice. The balcony really makes the place look cozy even though we didn't use it.
