Really lovely staff, good quiet location but not too far from the centre. Clean rooms.

Even though breakfast is included, there is no choice apart from the traditional breakfast which is unfortunate because it’s clearly very popular with locals!

The location. The decor. The ambiance. The comfortable beds,pillows and sheets smells great and soft. Ac working perfect. Breakfast was awesome the dinner food options were also great. They offer desserts and great local coffee The costumer service ia always great and consistent they listen to any suggestions and genuinely care.!

Water pressure

This is the best service we have ever received in any accomodation we’ve ever stayed in. We’ve travelled around Europe, Asia and America and have never met staff as friendly as they were in Velvet. Nothing was too much to ask - from laundry, to booking tours, to having a delicious breakfast to start the day. Coffee was always topped up at breakfast and you were always greeted with a smile and made feel so welcome. We had an upstairs room which we really liked. It was spacious, we had a window, air con was great, cable tv, everything we needed. We understand some reviews might not be great if you have no window - but maybe request an upstairs room if this bothers you. We can’t thank the staff enough for making our visit to this beautiful country so memorable! Also a great location, very very safe and secure.

Everything was perfect for us

The typical breakfast was very good, we had it every day. The terrace where we ate all our meals was lovely. The staff were all so helpful.

We had to ask to change room as the first night room was just too small. After that it was fine although rooms with no windows won't suit everyone.
