About this cottage rental

The Cottage of Chateau de Panisse has just been created in what was the house of guardians. Completely renovated, this house of 90 square meters is very comfortable and functional. Well equipped, it allows serenely live moments of relaxation, calm, in contact with nature and the olive orchard. She will receive unhindered four to six people in its two bedrooms and spacious living room. A terrace sheltered by greenery shadow is a real extra room in which will rest on the sun loungers or you will meet around the barbecue or the plancha. Also ideal place to prepare for the next day's program, with countless opportunities that are offered by such renowned sites as Arles and Nimes, or Uzes Saint Remy de Provence, Avignon and its festival in July, the Camargue and the many organized feria in all surrounding cities.
The sports and relaxation are numerous too.

The gite is part of the Chateau de Panisse a nice old building surrounded by olive trees. It is peaceful and well equipped. It is located in the countryside near Tarascon in a perfect place to explore Camargue and Provence. We were welcomed with kindness and attention by the property. We would highly recommend it.

The host is a gentleman who made feel us immediately welcomed. The house is a perfect fit for a family of 4. Kitchen well-equipped. Nice dehors. Quiet place surrounded by an olive trees field. Strategically positioned to reach any village / city of the central Provence. Don't forget to bring Autan.

The little house has lovely and modern furniture and the kitchen is equipped well so that nothing is missing if you wanna cock in the awesome big kitchen. The best of the house is for sure the patio in the backyard with the view of plenty of olive trees. It is quiet so that you can enjoy a relaxing vacation time. The location of Panisse is just perfect for exploring the area around like Arles, Les Baux de Provence, hiking in the Alpilles, Pont du Gard or even the beaches of the Camargue. Dont miss the beautiful Flamingos of Camargue....We really have to thank the owner, Bernard for his great hospitality. We got a degustation of his amazing olive (you definitely have to taste!!!), he went with us to a lovely wineyard close by which we would have never found on our own and he is always around if you need something.If we are in the area again, we definitely will come back!

We stayed in the Château Panisse for one week and we had an amazing time there. The little house has lovely and modern furniture and the kitchen is equipped well so that nothing is missing if you wanna cock in the awesome big kitchen. This was my second stay at Panisse and it was just as lovely as the first time. The accommodations are super, the hosts delightful and the surroundings peaceful and beautiful. Within 40 minutes you can visit many of the gorgeous Provencal villages and return to a quiet respite amongst the olive trees. The olive oil they produce is fantastic and well worth a visit just for that! Thanks, Bernard, for making us feel welcome! Can't wait to visit again!

A dream vacation in a wonderful place!

If you are planning on spending some magical time in Provence this is the place to stay. The gite (little house) is very well thought, you´ll have everything you need and the best part is that Bernard will make you feel like an important guest. He´ll recommend wonderful places and amazing tips for when to visit... (although we were tourist, its always good to feel local) . I stayed in Chateau du Panisse for 2 weeks with my husband and 2 kids (3 and 1 year old). I still can´t believe how much fun the kids had, only 15 minutes drive and they were running in a castle or 40 min drive and we were at the beach surrounded by white savage horses. Coming back to the Chateau and the smell of the olive trees was all around us, best part BBQ in the terrace having french wine and fresh tomatoes with the olive oil made at the chateau that Bernard gave us. Thanks Bernard and AS for making us part of the family for does 2 weeks, we´ll never forget such nice hospitality!

Very nice place to stay and enjoy long evenings on the shady terrasse! The kitchen was very well equipped, including dish washer and washing machine! Bernard is an extremely nice and very, very helpful host for tips on places to visit, restaurants to eat at, or even a privat tour through the Chateau to the top of the tower with view over the olive trees. Olive oil testing is a "must" and we already regret that we did not take more of the delicious black olive oil with us! Thanks for the hospitality!

Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise avec Bernard et avons passé de merveilleuses vacances dans sa propriété. Le logement dans l'abri de jardin est très élégant et le jardin environnant avec une vue imprenable sur les oliviers est tout simplement génial. Wir haben uns in dem besonderen Ambiente sehr wohl gefühlt. Bernhard war ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Ein schöner Rückzugsort, der schon bei der Durchfahrt des Hoftores den Urlaub beginnen lässt. Die beiden Esel und der Hofhund Lucky untermalten die Idylle. Sehr gute Ausstattung der Küche.

Il nostro soggiorno a Panisse è stato indimenticabile. Siamo stati accolti da un perfetto padrone di casa, che ci ha fatto subito sentire a casa. La sistemazione è veramente comoda e dotata di tutti i confort. Gli esterni sono accoglienti e fruibili in tutte le ore della giornata. Anche la posizione è ottima come base di partenza per innumerevoli gite. Insomma, è stato tutto perfetto! Peccato solo non poter rimanere più a lungo...

Gîte et environnement très agréables

Le gîte, très propre et très bien équipé y compris pour bébé, a beaucoup de charme et l'environnement, au sein du parc d'oliviers, vraiment agréable. Le propriétaire est prévenant et attentif à ce que vous passiez un bon séjour. Nous avions accès librement à la propriété et avons vraiment apprécié la terrasse ombragée. Petit bémol concernant le supplément ménage (que nous pensions inclus ou facultatif). Au final nous avons passé un bon séjour et recommandons cette adresse.

Im wunderschönen kleinen Hausmeisterhaus, das zum Chateau Panisse gehört, kann man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen. Zu schönen Wanderwegen in der Camargue und den Alpilles ist es mit dem Auto nicht weit. Gleichzeitig kann man bei schlechtem Wetter Sightseeing und Kultur in den Städten drumrum und im beeindruckenden Steinbruch von Les Beaux erleben. Für sämtliche Ausflüge, Einkäufe und Besichtigungen ist Panisse perfekt als Stützpunkt, und auch Kindern wird es nicht langweilig. Dafür sorgen die weiten Wiesen, Olivenhaine und die Tiere natürlich. Wer einen abwechslungsreichen Urlaub mit supernetten Gastgebern und einer gut ausgestatteten Unterkunft machen möchte, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

Bis auf das Wetter verbrachten wir eine entspannte Woche im gemütlichen Cottage in Panisse. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und sehr sauber. ( ein paar Haken für Handtücher und Badetücher im Bad wären praktisch). Die Lage in der Olivenplantage und inmitten der Orte Avignon, Nimes, Arles und Remy de Provence hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Bernard, der Hausherr hat uns liebevoll betreut und uns viele Insidertipps für Besichtigungen gegeben. Eine Kostprobe des köstlichen, von ihm hergestellten Olivenöls stand schon bereit. Wunderbares Anwesen mit schöner Wohnung, grossem Garten und herzlicher Gastfreundschaft

Es waren vier wunderbare Wochen, die wir in der Provence erleben durften. Bernard und Pascale haben uns als Gastgeber wertvolle Tipps gegeben und sogar eine Französischlehrerin organisiert. Wir haben darum viele unbekannte Facetten der Provence entdecken dürfen, die nicht im Reiseführer stehen und haben die herzliche Gastfreundschaft im Chateau de Panisse sehr genossen. Die Wohnung hat eine gute Größe für eine Familie mit 2 Kindern und ist schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles notwendige Zubehör auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt ist vorhanden. Der Garten ist sehr groß und die Kinder können sich bestens verweilen. Die Umgebung bietet enorm viele Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen, Velotouren, Strandbesuche, aber auch für historische Touren und Entdeckungsreisen bis tief in die vergangenen Jahrhunderte. Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem schönen Häuschen verbracht. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die zwei Terassen laden nach vielen Ausflügen zum Erholen ein. Bernard ist ein guter Gastgeber und immer bemüht, dass der Aufenthalt angenehm ist. Das Haus liegt ideal, wenn man die Camargue und die Provence weiter nördlich sehen möchte. Wenn man nur die idyllischen Dörfer in der nördlichen Provence sehen möchte, ist es vielleicht ungeeignet, da man viel fahren muss. Wir haben allerdings, da es in unserer Woche geregnet hat und auch nicht so warm war, zwischendurch, auch mit zwei Ölradiatoren, etwas gefroren, da die Heizung im Mai ausgestellt war... Alles in allem aber ein toller Urlaub!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil que nous a réservé Bernard, le propriétaire du gîte, à notre arrivée. Nous avons découvert un lieu idyllique pour les amateurs de calme et d'authenticité. Le logement est très bien équipé et conforme aux descriptions du site. Sa situation est idéale pour découvrir les joyaux de la Provence (Pont du Gard, Arles, Baux de Provence, Avignon,..). Les adeptes de randonnées seront également conquis par les nombreuses possibilités offertes à proximité du gîte. Nous avons savouré notre séjour et remercions Bernard pour les précieux conseils qu'il nous a fournis, sa visite pédagogique pour nous expliquer ce lieu chargé d'histoire et les procédés de fabrication de son huile délicieuse, sa gentillesse et sa discrétion. Nous avons passé une agréable semaine au château de Panisse. Un accueil chaleureux, une location très propre et très bien équipée, (literie de qualité) un environnement calme....et une si belle région que nous aimons visiter. N'hésitez pas... Allez passer vos prochaines vacances au "Château de Panisse" vous ne le regretterez pas. Et si vous aimez l'huile d'Olive, vous pourrez certainement trouver votre bonheur car votre hôte est aussi Médaillé pour ses produits de qualité. Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas les Alpilles, vous êtes idéalement situé pour visiter plusieurs sites et plusieurs départements avec de beaux villages. Vous êtes à proximité des Baux de Provence (beau village pittoresque) , vous pourrez voir le magnifique spectacle dans les Carrières de lumière (à côté du village des Baux de Provence), Saint Rémy de Provence et son grand marché, la ville d' Arles (allez y un lundi/mercredi ou vendredi pour découvrir les courses camarguaises dans les arènes), allez faire un petit tour au château de Tarascon. N'oublions pas Nîmes et ses grandes arènes et Marseille n'est pas si loin par l'autoroute.... De toute façon, vous trouverez des documentations et dépliants dans le gîte. Je recommande cette location à tous ceux qui veulent profiter de vacances au calme tout en étant à proximité de sites à visiter. Laurent

Wir haben anfangs Juni eine schöne und erholsame Ferienwoche auf „Château de Panisse“ verbracht. Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht – von einer gut ausgerüsteten Küche, über einen friedlichen Sitzplatz bis hin zum eigenen Gasgrill. Das Château liegt gleich neben dem Ferienhaus und trotzdem ist man ganz für sich. Bernard Foron ist ein sehr freundlicher, charmanter und humorvoller Gastgeber. Er hat sich viel Zeit genommen, um uns sein herrliches Anwesen zu zeigen – inklusive einer Degustation seines wunderbaren Olivenöls. An dieser Stelle nochmals ein ganz grosses Dankeschön! Die Lage von Château de Panisse lädt zu vielen Ausflügen in der Umgebung ein – Avignon, Arles, die Camargue sind nur ein paar wenige Orte, welche man spielend in einem Tagesausflug besuchen kann. Wir können diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen und würden uns freuen, irgendwann dahin zurück zu kehren.

Die Empfehlungen der vorherigen Feriengäste haben uns so positiv beeindruckt, dass wir das Gite allen anderen in der westlichen Provence vorgezogen haben. Und, unsere Erwartungen wurden noch übertroffen! Die Lage ist absolut zentral, 12 km von Arles entfernt, inmitten einer Olivenplantage. Avignon, Carpentras und L'Isle sur la Sorgue, die Fontaine du Vaucluse, Pont du Gard und die Camargue lassen sich problemlos in weniger als einer Stunde erreichen - ebenso die schmalste Schlucht der Provence `Gorges de Regalon´. Bernard Foron, der Vermieter und Eigentümer des angrenzenden Chateaus betreut seine Gäste wunderbar, charmant, herzlich und diskret - mit vielen guten Tipps auf Anfrage. Das Haus und die Küche sind modern, komplett und sehr wohnlich eingerichtet; die Terrasse, mit Blick auf die Olivenbäume läßt einen den Alltag und auch die Temperaturen völlig vergessen.
