Welcoming air-conditioned villa, peaceful garden, saltwater swimming pool, between the Alpilles and Camargue
In a quiet neighbourhood of Beaucaire with a pretty river port, this villa with its beautifully landscaped, shaded garden is sure to charm you for a wonderful holiday. In Nîmes, you can explore Roman ruins; in Avignon, visit the Palais des Papes; in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, browse beautiful shops and art galleries; and in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, enjoy the wild beauty of the Camargue and its long sandy beaches. For sports enthusiasts, the Beaucaire section of the ‘Voie verte du Pont-du-Gard’ (Pont-du-Gard Greenway), located 500 metres away, allows you to walk, cycle or rollerblade 14 km between Beaucaire and Sernhac.
INSIDE
The ground floor, overlooking the pool, comprises a large air-conditioned living room with lounge/TV area, dining room, and open-plan kitchen with cooker. There is also a separate toilet. The beautiful staircase with air conditioning in the hallway leads to the three bedrooms. Two have a large double bed and the third has two single bunk beds and a 150 cm sofa bed. A bathroom with walk-in shower and WC completes the facilities.
OUTSIDE
A small path leads to the fully enclosed property with a saltwater swimming pool and three steps across the entire width, which are very popular for relaxing or sunbathing with your feet in the water, in addition to the relaxation area with sun loungers under the beautiful olive tree. An outdoor shower with hot water is sheltered from view by a beautiful wooden structure. You can park two cars on the plot. The dining terrace with its electric plancha grill is adjacent to the kitchen. A table tennis table is at your disposal.
OUR OPINION
This rental, close to all amenities, is the ideal starting point for visiting Provence during your holiday in the South of France. Les Baux-de-Provence, perched atop its rock and listed as one of the ‘Most Beautiful Villages in France’, will enchant you. And golfers are spoilt for choice within a 30 km radius.
