About this house rental
For your comfort and in order to avoid traffic jams when entering our Island, arrivals and departures for the months of July and August will only be on Sundays and all other months remain on demand.
Stone house of 63 m2 completely renovated located in the heart of a small typical fisherman's village facing south-west, comprising: spacious cathedral living room with open kitchen equipped with: oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, extractor hood, vitro-ceramic hob, fridge / freezer,
electric coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender.
1 cellar equipped with a washing machine.
1 large bedroom with 3 single beds that can be modulated into 1 bed of 160 x 200 and 1 bed 90 x 190, wardrobe, a private bathroom (sink and shower).
1 bedroom with 1 double bed 140 x 190 and wardrobe, French window onto rear terrace.
1 independent bathroom (sink, shower, towel radiator).
1 separate WC.
Private courtyard of around 60 m2 for parking 2 vehicles, 12 m2 tiled terrace with 4 armchairs, sunbathing and coffee table + parasol.
1 private rear garden with 28 m2 terrace with garden furniture and barbecue + pergola.
Saint Pierre is 5 km away, the Port de la Cotinière 3.5 km away, you can get there by bike via the cycle paths 300 m from the house.
Also 100 m away you will find a bread and tobacco store and a gourmet restaurant 200 m away (Saveur des Iles).
The household linen (sheets, pillowcases, hand towels and bath rugs) is included in the rent, as well as the setting up of the beds. You just have to take your beach towels and kitchen towels.
Pets not allowed, smokers not allowed in the house.

We enjoyed Gerards house as well as the Ile d'Oléron very much!

Wir sind mit unseren beiden Kindern (12 und 13 Jahre) auf der Ile d´Oléron gewesen. Das Objekt liegt in La Menounière. Viel gibt es dort nicht, aber alles, was man braucht. Ein Shop mit Baguette und Croissants ist nur 100m entfernt. Abends ist es ruhig und man kann die Abendsonne auf der Terrasse genießen. Wir haben von dort viele Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad gemacht (es gibt einen abschließbaren Stellplatz) und sehr gut bei "Le Caps" gegessen. Unsere liebsten Strandabschnitte waren "La Gautrelle" oder der "Grand Plage" (ca. 15 Minuten Fahrzeit) mit seinen tollen Wellen - typisch Atlantik! Hier hatten die Kinder großen Spaß!
Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und haben uns in Empfang genommen und verabschiedet und uns eine Abreise ab 08:00 Uhr ermöglicht.
In der Wohnung fehlt es an nichts! Der Wohnraum hat eine besonders hohe Deckenhöhe und wirkt dadurch sehr großzügig! Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils zwei Duschen. Auch das war für die Privatsphäre der Kinder und das Duschen nach unseren Strandtagen wirklich praktisch!
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen :-)
