Great view from the yard on the ocean and the port in Sines far away. There are binoculars in the house so it is possible to observe ships coming to the port.
I wish I knew how to switch additional lights in the yard. Some lights did turn on automatically but there were others and we didn't figure out how to switch them on.

The location is fantastic, the apartment is very well equipped and the host was very kind.
The kitchen and the baths are ancient and need to renovate.

Location and decor. The house has a beatiful soul.. it feels like you are in your grandma's house.. its full of portuguese details is "uma casa portuguesa concerteza". Definetely a genuine family house.
Water does not feel right. When boiled you can see limestone dust attached on pot or kettle. Not a big deal though as you just need to buy water from supermarket beforehand. Maybe it would be good to include this on the listing description.

This is a very beautiful house that is well equipped, has nice furniture and is tastefully decorated. The garden faces the ocean and has chairs where it is nice to sit at sunset. It is quiet since it is one of the first houses of the village. It is easy to walk to the many beaches or to the restaurants in Porto Covo. We only used the car to go do hiking further away.
Perhaps the only negative point is that this house is not often available. It seems to be booked at all times.
