About this cabin rental
Walk to beautiful Bass Lake or take the short drive to Yosemite. Sparrow's Rest is well suited for groups of up to 8. Enjoy the updated kitchen with all the basics for meal preparation. Relax in the comfortable living room by the fire, though no TV, project your favorite movie via phone or laptop on the huge pull down screen with projector Dining table converts into a pool/poker table for evening entertainment. Bedrooms feature comfortable queen sized beds in two rooms, 3rd room is the bunk room with full sized bed and two singles. Outside find a firepit, bbq, and large private garden area.

Great cabin, especially for families with small children. Has its own little playground! Very well stocked. Just minutes to the lake. Owner responds to questions quickly.

The house was clean and stocked with everything needed. Couches were comfy and was nice to come back and relax on them after time at the lake. The projector screen was nice once we figured out how to Stream our phones to it and the WiFi was strong too. Would have been nice to have some directions on how to do that, spent some time trying to figure it out. Being that it was so hot this week, the house was like an oven when we first arrived and took a while for it to cool down but once we got it cooled off it was comfortable. Nice that there was a lot of firewood cut up and available for use. Fridge and stove were all clean. Overall, house was very clean and cozy for myself and my two kids. Would stay here again.

Our stay at the property was passable but it wasn't great. The outside of the property was dirty. The outdoor furniture did not look as though it had been wiped down for springtime use or guest. Cobwebs, dust and dirt covered the patio and all of the furniture. The description of the house should include that there is no TV. While we were not there to watch TV, it is nice to be able to turn on the news in the morning when you are getting ready or have a sitcom on at night while you're winding down. It would have been a nice heads up that there is no TV. Since there is a cleaning fee charged to the guest in addition to the nightly charge, I'm not sure why guests are asked to wipe down things before they leave. Would not stay here again.
