Step back in time, This charming 2 bedroom plus loft, 1 bath lake-view cabin is a tenants favorite. The large deck is a great place to relax and read a good book or enjoy your evening meal all the while enjoying the wonderful fresh air at Bass Lake. This cabin gives you a feeling of stepping back in time with its mixture of antiques and modern furnishings, fireplace insert and paneled interior walls.
With most of our properties, you will come to our office and meet with our office staff to receive your keys and/or code to access the property you are renting. Select homes we can set up no contact check in, where you will receive a code and the property address to check in.
After hours check in will be self-check in that we will set up upon request.
All of our homes are around Bass Lake, most within walking distance of lake access or a short drive to the nearest access point.
You will receive access to the home on the first day of your reservation. Check in will be set up with office staff.

There is an apartment right outside the house (Which sleeps 2) with private entrance which also has a kitchenette. The loft has an outside entrance.

The Bass Lake area does not have public transit.
Guests must be 25 or older to rent any of our properties. ID will be required upon reservation confirmation. The guest that makes the reservation must be the one who checks in and must remain on the property with the other guests.
Service animals are allowed on our properties. Please answer the following questions legally allowed by the ADA regarding your service animal. 1) Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? 2) What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
We do not charge extra for service animals, nor do we increase the security deposit. The guest remains liable for any and all damage caused by people or animal. Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices.

The stay was fine because of our ability as a family to adapt to different situations. We knew about the linens, towels, toaletries, etc., but didn't have clear picture of how many beds and what sizes we should expect to find in the house, which made us bring more linens for different scenarios. The hot weather made the stay miserable in the first few days and the ceiling fan didn't help nor did the other very dusty portable fans. The warning that the house doesn't have a carbon monoxide alarm made me feel uneasy during our stay.
The house provides all basic needs for a stay, but because it's old it doesn't give much comfort. All the old and dusty objects and amenities of the house are preventing an enjoyable vacation.
With all this comment I don't want to offend anybody, but I choose to be honest. I understand that different people have different opinions about what is valuable and what not. Old doesn't mean that it can not be enjoyable. But to be enjoyable it requires to be clean, tidy, functioning well and be secure. And then, it can be even charming.
The communication before arrival was delayed and uncertain. After that it was fine.
