It was a charming stay that felt like living a French country-side dream.

Our stay at La Cherielle made us want to move to Auvers-sur-Oise. Communication was easy with the hosts (in French and in English), and they were extremely accommodating to our arrival time and needs. For instance, my partner is a cyclist and we were able to store his bike in their shed. We loved the fact that we were able to enjoy the entire estate and come and go as we pleased. The hosts made themselves readily available, without feeling like they were hovering. A couple of stand-out aspects: the view from the bedroom, all of the wild birds in the yard, their cat and dog, and a delicious fresh-made breakfast every morning.

I can't think of a single thing we didn't like to be honest.

Welcoming, breathtaking in a beautiful environment paired with the owners free spirits and personality.

Catherine and Bertrand, the owners, are very kind. The house looks exactly the same as it does in the pictures. In one word, majestic. With a 20 minute comfortable walk you can reach Auvers-sur-Oise. We only stayed one night but we will certainly go back one day. I recommend this place with my whole heart.

Excellent - Comfy B and B

Very clean and tidy room with a nice bath and a sitting room as well. All with big windows to enjoy the view and greenery around. Catherine and Bertand are very welcoming. The garden around the house is also very good. All the amenities provided made it together a great stay. Plato the dog and cats just add to the overall charm of the place and are adorable. We enjoyed the coffee and breakfast also.

Beautiful Suite at the top of the hill

The 3rd floor rooms were spacious and worked great for four of us with a shared bathroom. She provided lovely extras, like a hot pot, tea in our room and cookies. Beautiful grounds. She put out breakfast for us since we had to leave early for the airport. I hope we weren't too noisy in leaving down the wood spiral staircase.

Stayed at this lovely property for 2 nights. Absolutely lovely welcoming hosts who offered accommodation in their gorgeous house in a beautiful location in a leafy suburb of Paris. The house is secluded and surrounded by a very large garden which unfortunately we didn't have enough time to explore on this visit. Would definitely recommend this property and hosts and we would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was lovely too..!

Good value B & B in a quiet area of a village where Van Gogh lived his last days.

Quiet location with vast gardens, spacious rooms (bed room and separate living room), good and clean beds, tasty breakfast and friendly and helpful owners.

A cat sneaking into the bedroom and jumped on the bed in the morning, when I opened the door. It was rather swift and unexpected, even though the owner had warned about the cats.

Schöne, außergewöhnliche Unterkunft bei netten Vermietern

Von den Vermietern wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind im zweiten Stock eines schönen und charaktervollen alten Hauses mit wunderschönem alten Garten und toller Aussicht. (Da wir auf dem Weg in den Urlaub waren, hatten wir viel Gepäck dabei, das wir netterweise im Erdgeschoss - in den privaten Räumen der Vermieter - lagern durften.) Leider waren wir nur für eine Nacht vor Ort. Sowohl die Zimmer und der Garten als auch der Ort Auvers-sur-Oise haben deutlich mehr Zeit verdient. Wir kommen also gerne wieder!

Mycket trevligt värdpar. Bra och lugnt läge med en fantastisk utsikt. Sköna sängar och välstädade rum.

Vi hade uppskattat en lite mer matig frukost. Den var åt ett kontinentala hållet med marmelad bröd kaffe men ingen ost eller dylikt. Ingen yoghurt men vi fick dock var sitt ägg.

la situation en dehors de la ville mais pas toujours facile à trouver. , la gentillesse de nos hôtes

Pour nous, qui sommes âgés et atteint d'arthrose, une accessibilité au deuxième étage avec des escaliers plus confortables mais nos hôtes ont toujours été présents pour nous aider notamment dans le transport des bagages

Petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits frais.les hôtes répondaient aux demandes(oeuf à la coque...)servi dans la salle à manger avec vue sur le jardin.

Éventuellement un porte manteau dans la salle de bain et une chaise dans la 2e chambre mais ce ne sont que des détails !
